Sounds good Sherry being on a revenge kick, Its quite possible I think she appears to be the damsel in distress but then it turns out she is working with Wesker at the end and she escapes then she is the main villan thats very good idea because then they have a reason to bring back Claire.

My guess, it's Jill. I know a lot of people are against the idea, but it makes the most sense. We're shown the grave specifically to make us "know" that Jill is dead, practically eliminating her from the shortlist, we're also shown in another trailer, both a blonde haired girl (who we all believe to be Sherry, but you never know with Capcom), AND the Birdwoman. Capcom aren't that stupid, they won't put them both in the same trailer if they're the same person because the first thing we all said was "Sherry is the Birdwoman".

Here's my thoughts and theories for what'll happen in RE5.

2006, Chris and Jill track Spencer down. They get inside his house, only to find that Wesker has already confronted him. They try to take Wesker out instead, he incapacitates Jill somehow and then promptly proceeds to kick Chris's ass. Now my theory is that after that scene there's likely to be a big explosion, most probably Spencer's house gets blown up by Wesker and his men. Because of this, Wesker has to hurry up whilst beating Chris up - "I'll just have to kill you quickly".

However, Chris puts up enough resistance to survive long enough to force Wesker to retreat or run the risk of getting blown up. Wesker leaves and Chris manages to escape in the nick of time. The Spencer Estate explodes and Chris logically assumes that poor Jill has been killed inside.

The B.S.A.A hold a ceremony for her and gives her a tombstone, etc, but her body is not actually buried there, it's just a monument.

In truth, I'm thinking Wesker has her extracted and revived with whatever-the-hell-virus he has. For some reason, she begins to believe in his cause (which, thanks to their superhuman powers, I'm guessing has something to do with the evolution of humanity as a whole, strengthening our species up) and starts working for him.

In 2008, in Africa, Jill poses as the Birdwoman. Eventually she runs back into Chris.

Think about it, when Wesker says "Now that your partner has arrived, I'll leave you two to... catch up." Do you honestly believe he's talking about Sheva? If both Chris and Sheva are playable throughout the entire game then a scenario where that line would fit is impossible. He has to be talking about Jill.

Anyway, Birdwoman/Jill spends most of the game beating up Chris and Sheva under orders from Wesker, until eventually her identity is revealed. Ultimately, I'm thinking she intervenes and saves Chris's life. Just after Wesker is about to shoot him and says "Time to die, Chris!", she'll come in and we'll all bear witness to some epic superhuman fighting action. Since Jill is apparently nowhere to be seen in the Post-Kijuju viral marketing ads, its likely that Wesker kills her once and for all, but that she gives Chris enough time to make a getaway and foil Albert's plans.

Then again knowing Capcom it could be some random new character we've never heard of, but his time I doubt it.

Sounds reasonable but if Jill turns into some Alice clone, I will be seriously pissed.

El Bastardo, you've taken the words right out of my mouth. Well done! My theory on Jill is almost identical, especially in the instance of everything that happens between Wesker/Chris/Jill in the Spencer Estate. At one point or another I was absolutely certain Tube Girl and Masked Woman were the same, but now I'm not convinced of that at all. "Birdwoman" and Tube Girl are definitely two different people.

But, I do wonder whether the Masked Woman is infected or not. I know she has uber-awesome fighting skillz, but does that necessarily mean she's infected? Personally, I hope she is, because at least that would make it more realistic than her being HUMAN and having been trained those moves. Then again... Jill and Chris were already displaying these kind of characteristics in the last scenario of Umbrella Chronicles.

If Jill is infected, I'd prefer her to die at the end of RE5. Like Stars1356 said, making her become like Alice would devastate me (and I'm not even a huge fan of Jill). At least if Sherry's infected (and lives at the end of RE5) she has the likelihood of being the villain, which doesn't bother me as much. I'd prefer Capcom just stay away from infecting the heroes, because it reminds me too much of the movies.

Me too. I rather see her dead than turned into Alice.

Good theory El Bastardo and I think thats exactly what happens, doesnt mean I want it to happen but it definatley seems most likley. I'd like to see what you said about the Spencer mansion part happen, but I'd rather if she went into hiding or something so Wesker would think she died in the explosion when really she escaped.

Then have Chris be the decoy to get Weskers attention while Jill works her way around in the shadows so they can get a suprise attack on Wesker cause thats the only way they are gonna get him and not even sure if that would do it. I dont see why they have to go all matrix with the superpowers no1 wants to see a superhuman Jill its just wrong. Theres so many ways they could go and I think her being a background character is the only one that id like.

Also she would not appear in the Virual Ad because they want us to belive shes dead they wouldnt put her in there and say "No honestly shes dead". So they cant put her in there or that wouldnt be much of twist now would it. Also if she did join Wesker well she wouldn't be in a press confrence would she. So just because shes not in there doesnt mean she's dead they could think of a 100 ways to explain that one. She is on holidays, hospital, next mission, undercover whatever you get the point.

Knowing Capcom, I doubt they are gonna kill off Jill. If Jill does show up with super powers its more likely that she'll just run off into hiding again rather than being killed off. Maybe there'll be more than one Birdwoman, Sherry being the super powered one, and the other being Jill in disguise.

Its definitely Jill, at least makes sense to me, since she is apparently a boss in the game
Also... Jill could be the woman in a tube from one of the first trailers just at the end of it.
