For the first chapter of the game. He loses it after getting captured.

Just beat the game on the PS2. The pre-rendered cutscenes may be the downfall of this version because Leon is always wearing the same outfit regardless of what "extra costume" he has on. This was immediately apparent to me when I bought the Tactical Vest; he didn't have it on in the cutscenes that preceded it afterward. Plus the context sensitive cutscenes, especially the Krauser-Leon knifefight, had long pauses when you pressed the buttons correctly.

          I just found something awesome

In Chapter 2 of Separate Ways, there's a ganado who stole Leon's Jacket :d Now we know where it went XD.

I've got a PAL copy, which was given to me by a VERY good friend. So I'm playing it a week ahead of the PAL release date.

So, how do we unlock the PRL? Also, does anyone know how to unlock the Typewriter in this one? It says something about Separate Ways when you complete Assignment Ada, what do they mean?

Just got back in from University and was happy to discover my RE4: Limited Edition had come. Didn’t Capcom bill it as having a DVD? I never got shit with it. No bag, key ring, figure, shirts and whatever else was being dished out. Damnit. The case is pretty cool though and so is the mini guide. It looks as though the UK guide will alter from the US one. It should have come also, I imagine it is delayed. The mini guide has some new concept art, well that I haven’t seen at least. Hopefully there will be a ton more in the full guide, hopefully that will arrive tomorrow.

Here are some photos. Aren’t the best I know but my digital camera battery’s ran out.

            Box Art

            Holy shits its Mendes

nice, i'm trying to downloading it now for some reason it isn't working at all.

i got the Uk RE4 guide in the mail today it is a totaly different guide after all. i wonder if brady games lost publishing rights to the series in the UK? it is written by future press. i must say i like it alot more than the US one, it has some new art i haven't seen before as well as new high res screenshots. is the US PS2 one just the same as the cube but with Seperate Ways covered?

He usually does if its from REH forums. Then he gives them the demeaning title of "user" instead of member lol!

yay AJ finally got RE4 Hhahhawhathaehteaht.. here's a few things me noticed.

i played it up till the first el gigante fight.

Graphics area awesome, although its a clear difference during gameplay graphics and the cutscenes.
                      - The radio screen character models seemed a bit 'jaggy'
                      - Sound was a very minor issue and went unnoticed for the most part
                      - the aiming is a hellish job with the analog stick, i found it a lot easier to use the D pad to aim
                      - Ammo IS sort of scarce, before the el gigante fight ihave about 60 handgun rounds but only 4 shotgun shells.
                      - Money is plentiful, i have around 150, 000 peseta's already

Yeah, I also find myself using the d-pad to aim a lot. And try using the knife more often if you're worried about ammo. That's what I'm doing and it's working out great.

so far the only trouble i had was in the del lago fight, the batard knocked me off the boat a couple of times even though i tried my best.

You should actually play the Gamecube version to have something to compare it to >_>

Anyway, just unlocked the PRL. It's awesome. If you don't fully charge it, it just emits a bright light which blinds the enemy, leaving them open to the melee attacks. If you do charge it, it kills everything in one shot. I've only played up to the second Dr Salvatore with it, but it killed both of em in one shot. The best thing is lining them up in a row of 5 then letting it rip through them all

An awesome weapon with awesome effects. Now, to continue Separate Ways
