Does Jill have ulterior motives?

Ok here we go, this is my prediction. Jill is in fact brainwashed, and also the birdwoman. Sherry is simply rescued by Chris after her long imprisonment, but Jill will be a bit harder to "rescue". This opens up an oppurtunity of a fight against jill, even if it's just a cutscene (like leon and ada in RE4). I also say wesker will die at the end of RE5, for good. No more surprise! Look who's back!...just dead. There you have it folks, you heard it here. So if I'm wrong, you can all say " told ya so!" as much as you please"One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate... and thus defy the tyrannous stars."
Resident Evil/Castlevania/ Silent Hill/Onimusha/Tekken /Dark Souls

I agree that Jill always seems to be helping Chris, she doesnt care a lot about Umbrella, she cares about Chris
But we all know that she HATES Umbrella
Even Jill appearing in almost all scenarios in REUC,she seems to be so "partner",and not a main character
sorry for my english mistakes \o

@ riderkid, dude, I'm with you on this one. I can handle all the topics about Jill's fate 'cause I barely participate in it, but can we just wait 'till more info is released to make new theories? The subject is getting repetitive , no offense guys, I like most of your theories... I found some of them funny and others interesting. And come on JB, I play UC and for all the things you have said so far related to that game I can find a simple answer: Capcom is not really good making dialogue lines (they're even worst in UC that in any other RE game from 'new' generation)Last edited by Ridley W. Hmmm. These are all really good observations, actually.
To be honest, I think it would be extremely clever if Capcom made a point to drop hints at the possibility of Jill's "death" or her working for Wesker early on, etc. I always wondered how Wesker was able to listen in on the conversation between Jill and Chris in the helicopter, but I guess the option he simply bugged it makes sense, too.
I want to look at Umbrella Chronicles with RE5 in mind, but like everyone else here has said, IT'S CAPCOM, and I really don't think they plan ahead a majority of the time.

I think she looks sickly in the REUC "Umbrella's End" scenario. She has bags under her eyes and her skin is very pale. I'm thinking she may still have some residual infection from her encounter in RE3.
As for her combat experience, she was a one woman army in RE3, and no telling how many missions she was on from 98-03. And she looks to have been a member of BSAA up until her "death" in 2006.
I don't know how canon the REUC manga is...the one where Chris & Jill encounter Wesker in a Russian village. But her and Chris both seem to share a hatred for Wesker. And, as I said, Jill would never align herself with Wesker.
But all this talk of her being supposedly dead in RE5, or being the Mystery Woman has me wondering. She could be a brainwashed assistant. Or maybe Wesker cloned her corpse? The Mystery Woman's face just resembles Jill's so much. And Jill's presence would certainly throw Chris for a loop. His mentality already seems shaky in RE5.
I mean, the guy's been fighting bio-weaponry since 98, and he has seen it expand to global bio-terror. He feels as if he can't win, and he has seen many allies & friends fall in the campaign.
Jill being evil or controlled would drive him over the edge, just what Wesker would love.
As for Jill and Mystery Woman having different fighting styles...if Leon can get "training" to transform him from a rookie cop into a James Bond/Solid Snake clone, surely Jill could be transformed into a martial arts ninja woman.
In genral you have a very good point! it does sound like it could be linked.
But in my opinion, brain washing or cloning is a bit much. :]
Great idea about there being a residual infection left from RE3 too, i like the sound of it but you also got to think if your reading too much into it, but we shall find out in RE5!

Either that, or the characters are just talking TOO MUCH, and I'm sitting there thinking, "Will you all just STFU, please?"
Maybe its just me and its been a while since I've played UC...but there's another part in the game where the dialogue seems off. It's when Rebecca and Billy are still on the train....its quiet for a bit and Rebecca says "Yeah" or something, and then Billy says something else (I think he's making a comment or saying which direction they should go). And there may have been another line when Jill and Carlos are trying to escape from the hunters...but again...its been a while and I can't really remember.
It could just be some bad translations and as Ridley said....Capcom and the RE games especially aren't exactly known for their well written dialogues.sigpic
Are you tired, Rebecca?

If capcom actually thought as much about RE as some of the people on this site, then there may be a consistent storyline with on plot holes. The problem is they come up with shit for one game and then change it over and over or thinks just get forgotten.
