I totally like new g monster design, but the eye on the right hand is a pure fan service and William's ripoff. It's just illogic and not right that he have an eye there. Any other part of his body would be beter place for it (like Lisa had it on the back) but not the damn hand.

The eye is a trait of Birkin's G-virus. It's likely it appears on the same spot with that strain.

Edit: After watching it again, Curtis is really boney, so I guess that keeps him from treading into "Birkin character territory" although the giant eye/arm/claws in the same spot are just ripping off Birkin, IMO.

Can't make up my friggin' mind...

Ugh. Same virus = same characteristics. Get over it.

CiarenDevlin: Yep and nope. The giant eye is actually a tm of the G-virus, but it appeared on Birkin's right arm only cause he was shot there. G-virus started to regenerate his cells starting from wounded arm, so the whole new organs appeared there. And his arm is also his breading organ... Or I'am wrong and it is just cool to have an eye on your arm And I also like that Miller is so skinny, looks cool.

Uhh...no. His entire shoulder was bombarded with lead, hence it's giant-ness. But that's not why the eye is there. The G-virus doesn't regenerate organs, it destroys them and replaces them to the point where there is no original host anymore, just a new creature altogether. The huge eye(s) are just side effects and aesthetic props. It's the viral equivalent of the Nemesis parasite, only it re-creates the host rather than simply strenghtening it. The only thing it regenerates is body mass and flesh upon injury and mutation.

Where the main defensive mechanism (claw) and "breeding arm" originate from depends on whether the host is left or right handed. Birkin was right, and so is Miller most likely. Then by the time the host is completely gone, both arms have claws because there is no right/left side of the brain (or even a brain in general) in dominance.

Ok, now I'll agree with you. By the way thanks for the info. But I thought that G-virus regenerated his wounded internal organs first and only then started to mutate his body. And after virus injection he actually had no eye, only tyrant like hand, the eye appeared only after he ate the rest of the g samples, and it was able to hide back inside his arm when William was in 1st form, but I guess Miller just injected the bigger dose. But, anyways, I like how Miller looks.

If you remember in Re2 just when William killed those agents in the sewer he got all the G-viruses that were left and ate them all so in fact he took more than Miller does which is why and I think that's William at then end of the game turns in to a bloob it must have bben all thoses G-viruses he took well that what I think.

Actually that eye is a G-Virus characteristic. As you recall in Wesker's report 2, they said that they extracted the base for the G-Virus from Lisa. Even Lisa had an eye on her shoulder.

You may be right... But in all honesty, I'm pretty sure William's right arm grew to monstrous proportions because it was shot up. Notice how in William's 1st form, his only mutations apear specifically on his right arm? It's because the G-cell's are healing his wounds whilst mutating to something removed from it's previous form. I realised the giant eye is shown on anybody infected with the G-virus, but having Curtis have a giant eye on his right shoulder aswell as giant claws on his right hand, the character seems to be either a nod to William Birkin/G1, or it's a ripoff. "G" actually had it's own brain which came with the monster head that sprouted outta William's shoulder, for the record.

BTW, the info you said about one's arm mutating depending on if they were right handed/left handed is complete bullshit. Never stated in any of the canon mytho's as far as I know of. [havn't played UC, but I'm positive William wasn't in that game].

Or... It's just that Capcom doesn't have creativity anymore. It's all, "Well, William had a big right arm... ALL G-Virus monsters have big right arm!"
I mean, just the fact that it's Leon and Claire, reunited, and they go up against G-Virus... Again... Way too many coincidences in RE these days.

Perhaps, there isn't much creativity left nowadays, it seems.

I think Capcom are "re-making" the BH universe in a way... Leon's changed from a rookie cop to a top secret Government agent, Chris has changed from a para-military officer into some hulked-up... drifter? And now, looks as if William has been replaced. Claire didn't look all that different, but her face has changed alot since CV:X.

I guess Wesker and Ada are still the way they were...

Yeah, but Wesker isn't the same badass commando either. He's like... "Welcome to my lair, Mr. Bond" now.

Common sense and rational logic =/= complete bullshit. The claw is the G creature's main defensive mechanism. If it can't use it worth a damn, what's the point in even having it?
