Umm... Well, as I understand it, if you're not a member, just a guest, you can vote as many times as you want. So someone signed out and voted over and over. There aren't even that many people active on these forums at the moment. So no, Leon is not really in the lead. Jill was winning before someone screwed with the polls.

Fanboys tend to ruin things for me. I see too many people go, "OMG! Leon is sooooo hot!" or whatnot, that's all I think about when I see him. About the fanboys saying that, I mean.

Otherwise all the girls would hate Jill n Ada. Plus I really cant tell if a dude is "hot" or whatever so makes no difference to me what he looks like.

It's not jealousy, it's more like... Okay, imagine this scenario... The teenagers find a new fad, and they like it. Then, the parents all go, "Well, this is cool, we're okay with you liking it. In fact, WE like it."
The teenagers go, "Our parents like it? It must not be cool, then. Let's not do it anymore."

It's kinda similar to that. Except the people in question aren't parents but people like my friend who played RE4 and said that if he was a girl, he'd marry Leon. And I go, "Is that the kind of people Leon appeals to? I don't want to be associated with them."
As you can imagine, he's not that close of a friend.

Leon was just a far more believable character in RE2. He was a young, inexperienced rookie cop who just happened to be thrown in at the wrong place at the wrong time, and he had to deal with all of that. He had to watch out for Claire, he didn't really know who to trust since Ada was telling him one thing and Annette was telling him another. I liked Leon's relationship with Ada in RE2, how this unspoken affection began to develop between them, even though Ada knew it could never work.

In RE4, he just became this very shallow character that's representative of the kind of mentality we possess today in the 21st century. Where we pretend to be hardcore, yet in reality we're all a bunch of pussies with high school sensitivities, offended at the slightest thing. Going back to RE2, one of my favourite scenes in that game is Ada's "death" in the Leon A scenario. When she's hanging precariously over the edge, and that wonderful piece of music kicks in, and Leon bitterly throws the G-virus sample away.

Wouldn't surprise me at all. But that's the kind of Leon fans I had to deal with. For RE6, Leon should shave his head and grow a beer gut. Just to show them.

Just so everyone knows, I tried voting over and over just to test it. I logged out, and sure enough, I could vote. But then I had to clear my cookies and reload the page to vote again. It would be a very sad person who would persist and do this 400 times for a usless poll that doesn't mean anything. So I think that the poll has been hacked internally.

Yeah, Jill is the best character, some people says she's the less developed character in the series without nothing to add to the plot... but I always ask them.. "where's that PLOT you mention, huh?"

That's why I get on people for saying "lol tha storylin in RE 4 is shit!!!" Because it was so good before, right?

Never said it was better, it's undoubtedly worse. But it's really not that bad, considering the only game in the series with a "good" plot was Code Veronica.
