Favourite Playable Character!!

I wish Jill had that popularity, I would have rather see her in a FMV movie instead of being "dead" in RE5.

I'm willing to place money on the theory that Wesker kills her in a cutscene in Resident Evil 5. As I posted on GameFAQS:

Check it. When Wesker walks in and begins saying "We last met at the Spencer Estate," you can see the side of Excella's head and the fact that the room he's in is completely different from the one in the next short clip where he kicks Chris' and Sheva's asses. After this, the room reverts back to the first one when he looks down at the camera and says "Poor performance indeed." So yeah. This probably means that:

1. The "We last met..." clip is him talking to Jill, who he probably captured or something.
2. The "Poor performance..." clip is him talking to Jill again after either beating the shit out of her or killing her.

Wesker indeed didn't meet Chris or Jill in 2003 as far as we know. Hence why they thought it was all them when it came to taking out Umbrella's last facility.

Leon in RE2 was a poor character even by RE standards.

Character Chart: From Best to Worst
Billy Coen- Actual backstory and development, plus just being generally cool in everything he does and a good voice-actor (as of REZero. UC voice sucks)
Steve Burnside- Actual filled out backstory and development, acts like what he was supposed to act like: a raging teenage asshole.
Jill Valentine - After her experience in Arklay she's understandably embittered towards Umbrella and its slave town, Racoon City. However she finds out not everyone with Umbrella on their jacket is a bad guy. As long as they're not Russian. Then 2/3 times they're evil.
Chris Redfield - As basically second-in-command of STARS and actually loyal to the team, he formed a rivalry and extreme hatred with their traitorous leader.
Leon Kennedy(RE2) - Got extremely attached to a woman he hardly knew. Complained constantly. Nothing else.
Claire Redfield- Was looking for her brother...found him. Wow, she really is bad. Well at least Degeneration gave her some character.

Fact of the matter is, much as people have their panties in a twist over Steve he had more character than most of RE's heroes.
And Code Veronica is my least favorite RE title that I've played.

There was an officially licensed manga in Japan that detailed Chris & Jill encountering Wesker in a Russian village. As far as I know, it is supposed to be canon.

I was living in Japan when it came out, so I just wandered over to the local Family Mart to look at the entries in the weekly manga magazine. I couldn't read half of it though. So I checked online to discover the fan made version with translations.

It's a decent comic series. 2 parts, with some really good art (which is typical with Japanese publications). Chris & Jill are exploring an isloated Russian village and come across a little girl. Then they fight some zombies and run into Wesker. (The meeting is anti-climactic though, unfortunately.)

Check it out though - you'll dig it. Heck, it might even be located somewhere in the archives on this site.
