Does Anyone else feel like Barry was shunned?

Yea Barry got the shaft because capcom is looking for young, big and lean looking characters for there games. I still think Barry could be in a support role but capcom likes to forget about characters.

I don't know...Chris is looking old and haggard (besides the muscles) in RE5. I think he may be close to retirement if he lives through RE5.

Of course all of my favorite characters save for one were all one-game featured. Which made me a sad panda since I love seeing more of my favorites.

In Barry's case though, I dunno. It sort of makes sense seeing as he has a family to not stay on the row row fight the viruses horse, which doesn't give him much to be in the series more with.

Let's see...Chris gets his ass handed to him by a superhuman named Wesker. A guy that tried to kill him, his sister, and his teammates in the Arklay mountains. How can he possibly gain some leverage to combat such a foe? Physical training: weights, boxing, etc. (Since Chris looks like he has a "street brawler" fighting style in RE5, I think bulking up is the correct choice, as opposed to leaning out for martial arts.)

The scruff is representative of Chris' emotional state. A previously clean shaven "good ol' boy," the stubble shows that Chris is different in 2008.

I really don't see how his new appearance is that much of a stretch or completely unbelievable.

Now...if he starts running up walls to do backflips over lasers, or defying the laws of gravity, then I'll start to feel nauseous.
