The knife fight with Krauser has to be one of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen. They are using hunting knives like swords, all the while doing flips and pirouettes and having a conversation. (Not to mention throwing heavy ass oil drums around like couch cushions.)
Well both of them are superhuman. Krauser to a much bigger degree.
Also most fights in games/movies don't make sense realistically. That's why Stormtroopers and Jedi and whatnot in SW movies are seen as a joke. Realistically their military/fighting tactics are retarded.

That arm was pure awesome. It beats the shit out of the lame and tired Tyrant claw.

I feel like chicken to night, like chicken TO NIGHTA!

Seriously, nothing cool about the new Leon. With his mop-top.

His chicken wing doesn't cause more death the the Tyrants claw, though. :]

Of course it does if he gets his leg-sweep stab combo in.
                I love that move.

Tyrant doesn't need to do combo's, he just lumbers in and impales his victim. Simple as that. Which is why Krauser probably doesn't get any kills in. He's so busy doing that mumbo-jumbo-combo shit that he actually forgets to impale his victim.

RE4 Leon's lack of emotion is his downfall. He at least seemed nervous in RE2 and confused. In RE4 he simply goes, 'Huh. Not zombies. Oh well, kill 'em all anyway.' Oh, and occasionally, 'Damn, Ashley's gone. Again.' He never seems concerned or worried by the parasite in his head, taking control of him.

That's not badass. Let's face it, whose braver...the guy who fears nothing or the guy who fears something and faces it down? Add in that Leon's unrealistic abilities and his capacity to throw out bad one liners a great deal and I really can't see why people are entertain by the character.

                    • Y'know, it doesn't really matter in the end. RE2 Leon and the game plot was obviously not utterly unpopular because RE2 is the best selling game of the franchise, plus Capcom's best selling game ever. And it's pretty damn fun to play too.

Of course, everyone is entitled to their personal opinion, but money, I am afraid, talks more than words.

So now you're comparing the RE world to the Star Wars world?

But, actually, that is perfect. Old school RE = Star Wars 4-6. New school RE (like RE4) = Star Wars 1-3.

Leon is about as cool as "Annie" Skywalker. I never thought I could hate Star Wars, but I do now. I never even saw "Revenge of the Sith" after the crapfest that was "Attack of the Clones."

Tyrant's at least were manufactured to be killing machines. They couldn't just mentally cause their parasite infection to suddenly mutate one arm into a weapon. The Plagas mutations were farfetched and dumb. Just how were Mendez, Salazar, and Saddler planning on returning to their normal forms once they killed Leon? And how come Krauser only made his arm transform, while the other 3 had full-body transformations that defied physiological limitations?

                          • People ARE entertained by RE4 Leon. They laugh at the prick's one liners and shitty moves.

Anyone else sensing that Nikkolas is a Beasley clone? My Beasley-senses are tingling.
