Combining sales for the original RE1 and REmake and counting it as one game doesn't make any sense.

i said if you do combine them RE1/Remake is the top selling capcom game ever, if you do NOT combine them RE1 is still the highest selling RE game ever.

REmake and RE1 are different games. The concept is the same (even slightly different). The games are not.

You can't combine sales of two seperate games. REmake was an upgrade that was released to satisfy audiences of the quickly-growing-in-popularity market of video games.

Actually Resident Evil 2 is the highest selling RE title. And Capcom's second-highest selling title ever.

for some reason the Directors cut and DuelShock versions are separate, but combine every version of RE1 and it's got higher sales than RE2.

Yes. RE1 sold 5.08 in total. Note the list doesn't list the MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY ports of RE2. Only the first PS1 edition, which alone completely crushes RE1.

Well he had a huge knife fight with another badass. Something actually awesome as oposed to gay and lame like Chris' Pipe-Fu on Wesker.

maybe, but we don't know RE2 Duel shock versions sales, or the GC or N64 versions, and they are not platinum or else they would be released to us by capcom, since capcom only release sales of there games that have gone platinum or classic or whatever you call it.

so the other versions all sold less that a million.
