I have the feeling that Wesker killed Jill to get back at Chris and then cloned her. I don't know but all these Jill theories are mind boggling.

Both of them are headstrong, resilient and focused. But a lot of fans of her character seem to appreciate her just because she's "lol woman".
i don't like her just because she is a woman, i like everything about Jill, she is my favorite character ever, EVER!!!!

if i liked characters for looks only then someone like Lara Croft or one of the Dead or alive girls would be my number 1 character, but there not.

also IMO i think Jill is the hottest female character ever, XD, Lara's got nothing on Jill, and Jill's personality adds to her hotness, i love her jokes with Barry as well.

i would cry, i think i would actually cry, i don't want it to happen, Jill cant die, if she dies ill be forced to consider it non canon, or ill go INSANE!!!!!!!!!!, XD.

When people say that video game characters are hot, it kinda makes me think that it's a bit nerdy, because I would choose a real chick over a video game character any day.

And do you know WHY you would cry? Because it would be an effective storytelling convention. Something I don't think Capcom is capable of.

i don't really want RE to become an emotional story at all though, i like it the way it is or was, i don't want a repeat of CVX.

CVX was bad because they screwed it up by rushing things. It would be like Scully getting hurt in the first episode of the X-Files and Mulder declaring his undying love for her there and then.

If Jill was to die from some nasty disease, be it infection from Nemesis or cancer before the game begins, it could be done very well. But it would need to have a point, and I can't see that being part of what drives Chris. Maybe why he seems so depressed, but honestly, they could do that a few other ways without wiping out Jill.

Of course, I expect to see Jill in RE5 somehow, and if she's meant to be dead before the game starts her corpse being taken by Wesker for study on the long term effects of what Nemesis did to her, then being reactivated as a monster, would make sense.

It is quite obvious that Chris knows that Jill is dead, the problem is how is he going to tell that to Sheva... I bet there is going to be a flashback explaining how.. maybe Jill just died in a mission... who knows... I don't know... If she's alive why she would make Chris believe that she's dead? It wouldn't be funny for him.

maybe no one knows Jill is alive apart from Jill herself.

That would be great. But well... Chris would be so pissed off.

i think upon finding out she is still alive, Chris would feel joy and releif, not anger.

i mean i don't think this will happen.

Jill - "hay Chris im still alive"

Chris - "****!!!!!! kawd damn it woman, i though you were dead, oh well" *pulls gun out and kills her out of anger*

Jill has to return in a bigger way, shooting out something, ala badass way of Lara Croft. If that does not happen I'd rather see her underground... she deserves more than just a grave. And if she's actually dead... (sniff) I want every angle of her death, pictures and wallpapers (?!)

i think Chris should be on the brink of death, and just as Wesker is about to kill him, Jill should make her appearance and save Chris and Sheva as well.

or something epic like that anyway, but she needs to take control, she needs to be like she was in Remake and RE3, not like in UC.

in fact if Jill turns up in RE5 she should be the superior officer and take change of the mission and Chris should be under her command.

I know, if she is like she was in REUC (attemping to grab a pipe and stuff) she can consider herself dead.

I dout Jill died from aids it's just stupied and I doint think she really has that much love intrest in Carlos to begin with.

Yeah, well, in an ideal world, they'd stop screwing around and not pretend like they killed off Jill in the first place.
Because, honestly, RE5 has either one of two scenarios:

                                1. Jill is dead. Hardcore fans are pissed off. They killed off the original heroine of the series.

                                2. Jill is alive. Oooh, big plot twist! We didn't see that one coming one bit!

If she's alive, then the whole notion of telling the fans that she's dead is stupid. It really is. Unless she's revealed to be alive in RE6, in which case as of RE5, they dare not hint that she survived.
