come on change the way of how you play ? its one character there is so many others if jill dies well its sad but there is still so many others to care about.

That is true, but she is such a pivotal character in the series, where a great chunk of the initial storyline revolves around her. She probably is the most competent character in the series, for being able to single-handedly defeat Nemesis, and is probably the most experienced female protagonist in the series.(in terms of combat and intelligence)


You gotta admit, that's a fair chunk to lose.

I don't want to divert the discussion from Jill here, but What is Tricell's involvement in RE other than the company that takes over Wilpharma?(in degeneration)

Mr.Rod's tricell logo prompted me to ask this.

They're the pharmaceutical corporation Wesker has allied himself with by the events of RE5, and they're responsible for what's going on in Kijuju.

Tricell are basically a somewhat more sinister Umbrella.

You have to be pretty fucking sinister to go along with Wesker's plans of a forced, distorted evolution.

Thanks guys, I'm a little more enlightened now, although really, it would take quite a bit to be more sinister than Umbrella, seeing as how the screwed so many people.

I knew Jill Valentine was supposed to appear in RE5 even before more was leaked because when I was watching Jun (Maker of RE5) play the demo (or other people, idk who really) and I saw 30->50 and a 4 circled next to it (This was found in Shanty Town on the right side of the wall before the chainsaw guy appears). My theory is that name a character that was in RE3 who will appear in RE5 but was NOT in RE4. The only other character would have to be Jill. May seem stupid for some people but it worked out for me.

I'm glad I have your attention. I've been meaning to share my theories and other misc. things. Here are some of my theories:

1 - Jill's Death Date!?
There are 2 flyers in Shanty Town that are hanging on walls. The first one should be right before you give Sheva the first boost (right when the flying B.O.W's appear) look to the right. There should be a blocked pathway. Search around there and you should find a white flyer with the date like this "14/01/06". In the U.S. we are the only country who are backwards with dates, so it should be read as the 14th of January of 2006. What's funny is why would a flyer be hanging there for two years? Has to foreshadow for Jill's Death Date, don't you think?
2 - Jill A Raven!?
I think Jill is the birdwoman (either real or clone) she might have faked her death or Wesker might have something to do with it. Notice how when you watch one of the RE5 Podcast Sheva says "Isn't that..." as she looks at the birdwoman. Sheva might know who's under the mask.
3 - Notice how Wesker is shooting to his left as he teleports (speeds/moves quickly) to chris. Why is he shooting there? My guess it the birdwoman, and as he is about to finish Chris; the birdwoman gets his attention and Wesker takes off his coat and takes her down. This is when I think he goes up to her and says "Poor performance indeed..."

This is when I think he goes up to her and says "Poor performance indeed..."

He's shooting at Sheva. You can see her standing there in the shorter of the two TGS trailers (when they show Wesker kick Chris). Also, they're in what appears to be the cargo hold of an airplane. When Wesker says, "Poor performance, indeed," he's in the same place he was when we see him walking down the steps and he says, "We last met at the Spencer Estate, wasn't it?"
