I agree with Rock it. Jill's R.P.D. uniform is classic and instantly recognizable.

I have always wondered why Jill would wear a mini skirt and a toob top ( I'm not complaining )..but if your going to escape from a city filled with bloodthirsty zombies wouldn't you want to wear some clothes that zombies can't easily bite through? lol

Nemesis you kinda right about that. Im reading the S.D Perry Nemesis novel now and she says that Jill is dressed that way because its easier for her to move around as she has to cover alot of ground. Theres no denying its for the male fans but is this really the first time a company has used tits and ass to entice us men. I mean turn on the t.v. for christs sake its everywhere.

The best part is, Capcom's rationale for her "casual" attire was because she was leaving town.

Personally, if I were a woman, I'd wear a tube top and short-ass skirt when I was about to escape a zombie-infested city.

But turning her into an Alice clone wouldn't be the worst thing that has happened to Jill. The worst thing that ever happened to Jill was taking the plucky, resourceful ex-Delta Force woman from RE1 and placing her in slutty attire (for the benefit of horny young game players who fantasize about digital women) and having her run around Raccoon City.

That is by far the worst crime committed toward Jill Valentine.

What kind of woman with military & law enforcement training would take to the streets (overrun by the living dead), pursued by a deadly killer, in a tube top (with no bra underneath as my profile image confirms) and a miniskirt? She's running around with her flesh exposed to FLESH eating zombies, in a pair of heeled boots. Any sane person would have broken into a sporting goods store or a military vintage store, and put on some appropriate clothing. You know, maybe also added some pockets to carry items?

But hey, lets turn Jill into a slut.

Jill's RE3 outfit isn't to bad, although i prefere her STARS uniform myself. it makes her looks smarter.

but do you really thing wearing jeans is gonna be so much protection agains't a zombie bite? it doesn't matter what she wears, you get bit, you die, that's that. and wearing a skirt is gonna give her a lot more mobility and agility(hence the dodging in RE3), and her lack of clothing and pockets would make her lighter and faster.

i didn't think her RE3 outfit was that bad, it wasn't exactly the most revealing outfit ever made, and it was hot, even the movie said there had been a heatwave, and it would have been hot around that time. so she's gonna be wearing clothes like that so she can cool down.

Nature of Jill Valentines death has been brought to light. Apparently Capcom is letting select people play the first two chapters (NOT FIRST TWO DEMO LEVELS) complete with story and cutscenes. How Jill "died" is revealed in a flashback.

The only flashback to appear was during Chapter 2 after Chris procures a data disk from a BSAA hummer that Irving was in. He puts the file on to his PDA and a folder opens up revealing the image of the woman in the tube.

Chris's instant reply to the picture was of shock and horror and the only word? "Jill..."

Then the flashback kicked in and Wesker is seen standing in front of the giant window in Spencer's Estate. Spencer is seen on the floor, Chris and Jill both enter the room, Jill is thrown against a door and Chris is picked up by Wesker. The next was a blur but Jill is then thrown through the giant window and seemingly falling to her death with Chris leaning over the hole with arms outstretched and a "NOOOOO" look on his face.

I didnt get to play this, but I have seen posts from people who have included a really detailed version in which I took this from. I have to say that if this is the case, I am actually quite pleased, although it does seem a little too cliche and obvious.

so that's it? she falls out of a window? *facepalm* that is such a huge cliche, any character "dieing" that way is always alive no matter what, and why onearth is capcom letting people play the game? if they have something like that in the beginning, what wil they out at the end? this is to predictable.

or the resteraunt we see in RE3, she did know her way around in there, like the celler underneath and how to open it and everything.

Honestly, I think there are a lot of outfits could have chosen that would make more sense. Her S.T.A.R.S uniform for one. At the end of the day it was simply an excuse to make Jill look like she was a street walker and I'm one of these wierd ass guys who likes things to make sense rather than, you know, having a pair of jublees waved in my face until I forget.

There really isn't an excuse for wearing so little clothing. It may be warm...but in case of zombie invasion you've got better things to think about than sweaty pits. It may allow you to be mobile but so do plenty of other clothes. Denim may not be much protection against bites and scratches...but hell, it's better than bare flesh.

you have a point, but the UBCS mercs where wearing flak jacket and all that jazz, didn't help them much though did it.

and i do like things to make sense as well, but i tend to make my own canon up or just assume things, like, it must of been hot.

I just don't get how people are still trying to rationalize/defend her outfit:
