Of course, her lack of clothes didn't help Jill from avoiding the tentacle penetration of Nemesis either...

Originally posted by ThWorldGreatest View Posther outfit was slutty alright but im just wondering if she was a waitress or not, im pretty interested in what she did before the events of RE3.
and yes, i would love to know a full detailed history of all the characters backstory. that would be awesome.

Spoiler:
Characters:
Chris Redfield - Nothing new on Chris, other than that the "death" of Jill plagued his mind. He's also worried about being expendable on the part of the BSAA. Him and Sheva are sent after Irving alone after the entire Alpha team is wiped out. He questions this order from the HQ and begins to have doubts about the integrity of the company.
Sheva Alomar - Nothing new on Sheva. She appears to be the little sister of the African branch of BSAA, with Captain Josh Stone teaching her all she knows. They have a friendly relationship.
Reynard Fisher - The guy with the turban. An undercover BSAA Agent but obviously gets killed by the Executioner.
Kirk Mathison - We don't see him much. He dies though as you arrive to the site of his helicopter crash to find him dead.
Dan Dechant - Him and his squad are wiped out by the Leech Zombie. Irving is responsible for this attack.
Josh Stone - Him and his team (Delta Squad) first appear when you meet your first motorcycle Majini. They wipe the crowd out with sniper rifle and there's a Rat Patrol-esque feeling about them. Slow-mo gun shots and all. Again, he's like an older brother to Sheva.
Ricardo Irving - Obviously we know he's a bioweapons dealer and is in Kijuju on business. He's a hilarious guy though by the way he says things and does things. He's got a great taste in cowboy boots as well.
Plague Doctor - We saw her three times. First time is in the VERY first cutscene of the game which is where we see the guy on the floor being infected by one of the leeches. The next time we see her is when Irving is spying on Chris and Sheva after the Alpha team are taken out. She drives Irving away in a jeep. We then see her when she saves Irving with the use of a smoke grenade. She speaks for the first time as well by saying "Hurry" to Irving. Couldn't quite hear in on it though because of the other TVs and people talking. The way she saves Irving is like Ada's rescue of Leon in RE4 where he's about to be killed by Mendez. Zip gun and everything.
Albert Wesker - We see him for the first time in Chapter 2. However, it's in a flashback. I'll delve in to this more later.
Jill Valentine - There is one reference to her and she appears in the flashback scene that Wesker and Chris also appear in. More about her soon.
Ozwell E. Spencer - He is also in the same flashback as Chris, Wesker and Jill. He's laying on the floor during the scene.
Allyson - She appears for 10 seconds and that's her role in the game. I'll delve in to her more next.
Unfortunately no Excella or anyone else.
Enemies:
Male Majini - Regular Majini. They are smarter and appear in bigger crowds in the final version.
Female Majini - Rare but there. I fought around 5 in my entire time I think.
Fat Majini - Massive Majini that only wears shorts. He has no weapons and instead uses his fists. He can run after you but mainly walks because of his size. Takes ages to kill. Fought these about 4 times in my entire time with the game.
Plagas Dog - The first one we came across looked like a Hungarian Viszla but grey. About 4 or them at once usually and they appear with many Majini, including the Fat Majini. Nightmare to kill.
Plagas Dog 2 - This one is a large German Shepard. Even harder to kill but didn't appear to mutate. Only appeared a couple of times.
Flying Plagas - Obviously from the demo. They appear quite often after Shanty Town (where they first appear).
Centipede Plagas - First introduced about 20 minutes in to the game. They are huge, erupting from the necks of the host. They slash out at you and take ages to kill.
Mini Bosses/Bosses:
Executioner - No need for an explanation.
Allyson - Introduces the first Centipede Plagas. She gets infected, Chris "saves" her but then she mutates after you blow her head off. All in the space of 10 seconds. She's just an excuse to introduce more powerful enemies.
Guard - No need for an explanation.
Leech Zombie - Irving is responsible for the first Leech Zombie. One of the dead members of the BSAA Alpha Team get taken over by a mass of leeches and you then have to lure it in to a furnace in order to kill it. Pretty easy and he's slow as well. You can shoot the organs on his body to weaken him.
Environments:
Kijuju Town - A lot of the first chapter takes place here.
Docks - Boats everywhere and you also get cover fire from Kirk.
Train Yard - First meet the dogs.
Mines - First real Survival Horror area as the first part of the area is in complete darkness with only a light providing the only way.
Quick-Time Events:
Only one QTE cutscene was experienced during my time and that was when the Majini on motorcycles first appear.
First part - A motorcyle comes flying off a ramp and the Majini is about to take Sheva out with a chain. You have to hit the button the screen for Chris to knock Sheva out of the way.
Second part - A Majini grabs Chris's leg with a chain and drags him across the dirt. Sheva has to shoot the chain before Chris gets impaled on the helicopter wreck in gory fashion.
Third part - Two Majinis speed towards Chris and Sheva and you have to hit the shoulder buttons to avoid the attack.
*SPOILERS*
Story So Far:
The game starts with the Plague Doctor standing in front of a male who is being consumed by the leech-like entities. We then see Chris drive through the savannah on his way to Kijuju.
The BSAA set up their main camp in Kijuju, with Chris arriving and meeting Sheva.
You then walk with Sheva (or run) through the village with all the villagers doing their own thing. However, you can walk up to them which will initiate a response as they turn around and give you evil looks. However, you continue to move through the village with talking between the two characters occurring. The goal? To head to the butchers and meet Reynard, the guy with the turban. He's an undercover BSAA agent.
He shows you a massive case containing your standard body armor, knives, guns and ammo.
As you proceed through Kijuju, you obviously go through the scenes with the Executioner, Guard etc. However, Chris and Sheva soon see a girl on the upper floor of a building. This is Allyson. She wears a black dress instead of a red one in the final build and then gets taken inside by a villager. Chris and Sheva rush up to her and Allyson jumps on Chris, hugging him. However, she then turns violent and you have to take her out. Her head explodes and out pops the first real Plagas encounter. Other villagers join her in trying to kill you.
Soon after, you come across the Alpha Team seemingly taken out. Black goo is visible everywhere and Dan Dechant tells Chris about a setup, with Irving running away in the foreground.
The leech mass appears and consumes a BSAA agent introducing the first Leech Zombie.
A scene soon occurs where Chris and Sheva arrive at a hummer enclosure. We see a scene or Irving spying on them by camera. He disappears with the Plague Doctor in a jeep whereas Chris and Sheva discover a case with a file in it, on the front seat of one of the hummers.
Later, Chris and Sheva encounter their first motorcycle-riding Majini. The Delta team appear and take them out via sniper fire. We meet Josh Stone, the captain of the team, for the first time. Chris then checks out the file he got earlier on his PDA. Images appear of Jill Valentine in a tube, with a flashback then occurring (CHECK THE FLASHBACK SECTION AFTER THE STORY SO FAR).
With Chris and Sheva's mission to arrest Irving still the priority, they soon encounter him after the mines. After a brief discussion, a smoke grenade is set off and the Plague Doctor bursts through the window before taking Irving away.
TO BE CONTINUED IN THE GAME.
Flashback:
The only flashback to appear was during Chapter 2 after Chris procures a data disk from a BSAA hummer that Irving was in. He puts the file on to his PDA and a folder opens up revealing the image of the woman in the tube.
Chris's instant reply to the picture was of shock and horror and the only word? "Jill..."
Then the flashback kicked in and Wesker is seen standing in front of the giant window in Spencer's Estate. Spencer is seen on the floor, Chris and Jill both enter the room, Jill is thrown against a door and Chris is picked up by Wesker. The next was a blur but Jill is then thrown through the giant window and seemingly falling to her death with Chris leaning over the hole with arms outstretched and a "NOOOOO" look on his face.

throat armor? does it even exist? well yes it would have helped, but i don't know where Jill could have found any Knights armor suits just laying around in Raccoon City. unless she went to a museum or something, that would have been cool.
Metal armour would be too heavy, but the UBCS should have been equiped with stuff like this. If anyone should have some idea of the gear needed to deal with zombies...then again, they were pretty much lambs led to slaughter.

Originally posted by Darkmoon View PostYeah, such things exist. There are various kinda kevlar plates that various police forces use, including ones to protect the limbs and throats. Oddly enough there mainly made for dealing with animals, such as dogs, which...you guessed it...mainly go for the limbs and throat.

maybe in RE5 the BSAA will be equiped with this stuff.

Hunks team weren't supposed to be facing zombies. There was no outbreak when they went in. Hence why they got standard special forces gear I guess. And the UBCS were sacraficed as test data, hence why they got standard equipment...it's what a normal military force would be using, at least to start with.
