Claire will be the lead for RE6, it will be the second time that a game had a main female lead without the option of picking an alternate male. It will introduce some new mechanics and be a great game...but that will be overlooked when everyone complains that Claire isn't "dressed for fighting bio weapons".

Yeah that would kickass, but i doubt it.. If i am honest i would like a multi scenario resident evil like the first one.

With a male and female character or maybe even 3 to select from? Different stories for every person you play and they all exsist together so they all can be canon.

glad were finally over the issue about Jill's RE3 attire, jeez, all her clothes are great, there's nothing to complain about, no one likes her just because she wears it anyway.

oh i would love for Claire and Jill to be in RE6 togather, it would be awesome, but then again, we would get. OMG!! two girls it's fan service, LESBIANS!!!!! and stuff like that.

Okay, so steering the conversation away from Jill's bra and panties..

Regarding Jill's character development, it'd be weird for me if she DID turn out to be bird lady (which she may not, but hey). In RE3, she always seemed to have a strong sense of justice, her head firmly screwed on her shoulders and a hate for Umbrella and B.O.Ws just as much as Chris, enough to make her join the B.S.A.A with Chris, as seen in Umbrella Chronicles.

It'd be a big change to get used to, a character like that becoming an antagonist. (If she is.)

Yes but it would only be hard to accept that if it turned out that she was willingly helping Wesker/Excella. That would be character suicide by Capcom if they did that. Based on what we know Jill had that strong sense of justice up until the incident with her, Chris and Wesker. After that who knows what happened. As it looks now we won't even know that its Jill until a later part of the game.

Yeah, I seriously doubt Jill would do anything like that of her own accord. That would be the only thing to make me go :/ at the whole idea, but I really, really doubt that will be the case. I wouldn't underestimate Capcom that much.

While I don't doubt Claire and Jill would be a kick-ass combo, it just doesn't make any sense for them to be together. Their only connection is Chris. Unless, somehow, they're both in the BSAA together, or something.

See, the thing with RE5 is, it looks to close out the true, main storyline that has been a constant ever since RE1 -- Wesker's storyline. Odds are, Chris will defeat Wesker somehow(because having someone besides Chris defeat him would be absolutely ludicrous), and an even newer story arc will emerge...and I'm guessing it'll surround Excella and TriCell.

So once the Chris/Wesker storyline is closed out, what do we have left?

The story will progress, in my opinion the Wesker saga has been brought to an arrowhead now and i beleive the time is right to end that part of the story.

I'm sure they can think of lots of different future plots, it isn't the end at all atleast that is what i feel.

For all we know the story might turn into a revenge plot as Jill trying to take down Tricell and gets caught in the middle viola! resident evil 6 begins.

Whatever happens, i can see plenty of chances in this game to progress the story without Wesker.

Claire and Jill have no connection beyond Chris and they wouldn't be together in a game unless events threw them together...ala RE2. It would be too much of a coincidence and most fans would hate it. Claire doesnt seem to want to fight in the same way that Chris, Jill, and Leon are willing to..shes more comfortable in her diplomat role. I think this was pointed out by Leon in Degeneration.

As for the next game, if done right I can see Jill as a main character if she survives RE5. Fans have been wanting it since RE3 and with the introduction of Excella...it sets up something believable. It just would have to really rely on good storytelling in RE5 to set it up and not end up being cliche.

This will be the end of the STARS storyline as Capcom said, but that doesnt discount anyone involved with STARS. I believe the canon storyline is the Chris scenario...as thats the only thing that would explain why Wesker hates him so much. Chris vs Wesker is the central theme and once thats done with...thats pretty much it for the STARS struggle.

But they could end it with 5, because besides Jill or Leon there is no central character who could continue on. Chris wouldnt be given another game right away, its not even sure if Jill is alive at the end of 5, Leon ...they would end up putting out some weird plot that puts him on a mission for the government and Claire..well doesnt want to fight..but most Resident Evil games werent based on the "want" to fight, were they?

Of course then there is Sherry Birkin, but I wont even begin to get into that.
