If Jill were to get a game, which I dont think its likely, and if it were to be co-op she would need a partner who wasn't Chris. If it was Chris, he'd see something in Chapter 1 that reminded him of Kijuju and then freak out leaving Jill to have to solo it.

Jill has had Chris, Barry, and Carlos. If she does have another partner (if she survives), then I'd prefer it be female. I'd love an RE game with two female leads, but I doubt it will happen. That's actually a good point. Honestly, two female leads...I just don't know if it would work. Now, I'm the farthest thing from sexist(as you already know, Rosetta), but I just really can't see it working like it does in RE5. I can't really explain...it's like Chris's testosterone-fueled haymakers balance out perfectly with Sheva's all-too-feminine spin-kicks. I can't really put it into words, but, yeah, it would be an interesting experiment. Would it be a worthy experiment? That's tough to call.

Unbelievable. Barry appeared in ONE game, not even playable, and Chris will now have appeared in 3 games as a playable character, ALL THREE OF WHICH were based around Wesker TORMENTING him and fucking with his soul, his very existence...and yet, you think BARRY deserves to be the one to kill Wesker? Barry already 'killed' Wesker once...or, at least, he had an assist on the Tyrant's kill.

Let Chris have his goddamn revenge. Wesker fucked with Chris and killed a bunch of his friends for his own selfish purposes, then threatened his sister's safety, and NOW he's going after his woman? Come on now.

anyways, i was saying that there is another character that could take down Wesker other than Chris. Barry has all the reason to do so, and actually Jill and Rebecca also, and all the remaining STARS team have a good reason to want to kill him. because Wesker betrayed them all in the mansion.

i think it would be awesome if Barry appeared at th end of RE5 to fight Wesker and team up with Chris and Jill, and Rebecca is also there somehow as well.

they all have varying reasons why the want revenge.

Chris probably has the most, because Wesker bertrayed him, and then went after his sister and killed his best friend (forest) and then turned his woman evil.

however, Jill has a lot of reason to want Wesker dead, she was betrayed as well, and plus Wesker threw her out of a window, and gave her over to Excella and turned her evil. i bet Jill is itching for revenge upon Wesker.

Barry, well he was betrayed, and forced to betray and murder his friends because of Wesker, and was blackmailed into doing his dirty work. plus Wesker also threatened his family. i bet barry wants to shove a Magnum down his throat.

and lets not forget Rebecca, she was an innocent bystander and Wesker just shot her for no reason, just to point something out to Chris, and plus Wesker had rather revealing photo's of her in his desk. im sure she wants to kill Wesker as well.

see the entire team as enough reason to want Wesker dead. it's just that Wesker seems to focus on Chris, maybe because he respects him ore because there both men. maybe by fighting Chris he can be the "Alpha Male" or something. Jill and Rebecca are both woman, and i think Wesker would look at them as weaker and probably inferior beings,a dn Barry is old now, so he would focus on Chris as the most dangerous.

How can both scenario's be canon? I mean events of some of them could but there are certain events that happened that really only one of the two characters could of experienced. Like which event with Wesker in the lab was considered the one to have occured? I prefered the way Jill's played out but I am leaning towards Chris's.

Or how accurate is UC? According to that game, Chris and Jill stuck together the whole time. Aside from not including Barry in that situation...it seemed plausible.

i know it;s kinda confusiong, but both are considered canon. it's like a mixture of both scenarios that are canon, and possibly tiny sections of UC as well. maybe Chris, Jill, Barry and Rebecca where all in the lab with Wesker at the same time? it's somethign like that anyway, i know there is a video on youtube of the most likely canon.

So...because a character may have a role in a game merits her own thread? Someone needs to get their facts straight: Dot made this thread because he, like other members, were getting fed up with every single topic getting turned into a Jill fest, and having about 4 new threads created a day about her. Jill conversation STILL pollutes other topics, even if it is something that has nothing to do with her. As I've said before...there could be a topic made about Pluto losing its status as a planet, and Jill would eventually steal the main focus.

People need to really stop and just think about what they hell they are saying. You all are fighting...over a video game character.

maybe because some of us find characters to be a more interesting topic that the plot, where all different, i personally would rather discuss characters than plot.

you seem to think your supirior because your discussing the plot and other things about RE. but i don't make stupid jokes and say things about you guys. yet some people think that there more holy because of it. do you realise that your fighting and discussing over a video game as well? just like us.

I think it's possible Excella may become Jill's nemesis like Chris is to Wesker, however I don't see them fighting in the game. The only reason I say that is from what we see, birdlady (assuming she is Jill, which we don't know yet) is extremely experienced in combat and can hold her own against both Chris and Sheva. We've not seen Excella fight and I doubt (especially with the dress she has on) that she'll be doing any fighting at all. These scientist types in RE games rarely fight unless they turn into B.O.Ws themselves, and I think Excella has more longevity in the RE series than that.

i think i mentioned this once before. i think that by the end of RE5, Wesker will be dead and Excella will have taken over. and they will redo Chris VS Wesker, but contrast it and have to females rather than two males this time. i think it's likely a Jill VS Excella fued may pop up in future RE game. because it seems that Excella is Birdlady's boss, or she gives Birdlady orders anyway, maybe she is the one mind controlling her. so Jill will want her revenge, and there as been 2 years of history between them we don't know about. thye could possibly hate eeach other. so i think a Jill VS Excella scenario is very likely in the future.

i totaly agree, i think it would be really cool to have an all female cast in the future. it should be Jill and Claire, or Jill and Rebecca i think. but i don't know why people would hate that at all. i think it would work really well together.

your thinking of it as if RE will always be Coop from now on. which i really hope is untrue. if it was just like any other RE, where you play as one character alone, and bump into the supporting character every so often, it would be awesome.

I dont know about anyone else, but story wise I feel that the co-op experience kind of ruins it. It improves it gameplay wise but storywise it leaves nothing open. You pretty much know that whatever Chris is doing, Sheva is doing as well which means theres no room there for character development. Chris and Sheva will most likely never be seperated (at least too far apart) aside from maybe a cutscenes length.

I wouldn't be opposed to two female leads, assuming at least one of them is a mainstay in the Resident Evil series. I certainly wouldn't want to play as Sheva with my new BSAA recruit <insert random new character name here>. Jill would work fine, you've got the motivation...assuming the events of RE5 play out how we all expect. Claire...I think would work just as well, shes almost as believable as Jill as a main heroine so you'd have no objections from me.

I debated putting this somewhere else but my point is bringing up this about Jill. Here are some new scans or they are new to me at least of Irving/Plague Doctor. If you look at the 8th and 12th picture down it gives a glimpse of PD's outfit underneath the robe. On one shot it looks like shes wearing something that comes across being thigh-high leggings and the other shot looks like just black leggings. If it ends up being the first one, the anti-Jill people will probably have more of a field day with this than they did her RE3 clothing.

It's no worse than any other secret agent get up, like Ada's in Assignment Ada. So nope. I couldn't give a crap if that's all she's wearing and under the robe she's topless, so long as they can explain it away as anything other than fan service.

I'm slightly frightened by the idea that Jill and Leon might be in the same game together, especially if Jill has gotten any kinda upgrades over the cource of RE5 such as mutant viral powers. Normal Jill is cool. Alice inspired Jill, if she exists, will be terrible. Add in Leon and his Super Awesome School of Goverment Ninja training and things could get silly.

Thats one of my concerns too. One of two things needs to happen, Jill needs to either die or be cured. By being cured I dont mean brought back to her senses and still able to have insane strength and agility. Master of Removing vaguely hints towards this but in the event that she maintains the enhancements from a virus/parasite or whatever...I would rather see her die then be able to live and be like that.

Leon and Jill in a game, I dont know if the world is ready for that.

I will have a hard time believing Chris wouldn't go on a mission with Jill to take down tricell/Excella..

I think the best way to end Wesker ~AND~ Chris' story would be for Wesker to die, and for Chris to become handicapped physically in the battle (however, it looks like Chris will become insane after the battle? I don't like that type of incapacitation). That way, Jill could go on a mission alone and Chris can support from afar. Maybe Claire could take his place and go on the mission with Jill. That would be a VERY fun dynamic, as Jill would become a protector over her friend's little sister. Jill and Claire are, indeed, my favorite characters!

Well, Jill de-Aliced (yes, that does look like de-liced for a reason...Alice is an evil blood sucking parasite on the boated form of Resident Evil) would be fine. Leon would be...well, Leon. I don't imagine they'll start moving him away from crappy one liners and Super Agent Man any time soon. But if they're both in super human mode then...well, rocks fall, everybody dies. It's the only way.

Of course, there is also a good chance we'll get an old character and a new one, similar to RE5. Jill and someone new might be interesting. Hell...anyone but Leon and Chris could work.

Leon's oneliners belong with all the other bad RE dialogue..in the past. I can see it now...

Jill and Leon take out a Super Tyrant that has 2 Lickers fused on its hands which is also fused with Uroboros. Leon shoots it with a rocket launcher while proclaiming "Game over". Jill walks over and squarly punches Leon in the eye proclaiming that anyone besides Barry Burton who uses bad dialogue around her is entitled to be punched in the eye.

But seriously, we also have to take into consideration that if she presumably dies...Jill is getting kind of old and probably like Chris tired of fighting.

i don't mind Leon's one liners, but Jill doesn't suit them, i don't think one liners would suit any female character really. and lol at Jill punching Leon in the eye. that's like Claire slapping Leon in Degeneration.

also what does it matter if Jill is getting old? you sure she may get tired of fighting, but id much rather her settle down and live happily ever after than be turned evil or cloned or something.
