Anabolic steroids supress the natural testosterone production in males, which can lead to infertility and a low sperm count. There's also increased conversion of testosterone to oestrogen by an enzyme called aromatase. This results in a man's testicles becoming a fair bit smaller and in rare cases a male user of anabolic steroids can even develop gynecomastia. If you stop using them though, your balls normally return to their normal size within a few weeks.

      • So as to shift this thread back on topic and away from *shudder* Chris-penis-fetish talk, I guess we can all safely say that Jill is the unnamed character in the "??? stage" from Umbrella Chronicles. She is shooting zombies that sort of look like the discarded Uroboros test subjects (the "zombies" that can grab you on the conveyor belts), and when you finish the stage, the character returns to a tube like chamber and "sleeps."

Perhaps the level is to display Jill's training/testing via P30? I'd like to think Capcom placed the level there for a reason...

Anyway, here is a vid (not a comprehensive one though) of the level I speak of, for those that do not know.

Holy crap! Awesome find! That's the first I"ve ever heard of that. And yeah, that is definitely RE5 Jill related. The zombies looked pretty much like those on the conveyer belts. Hell, even the lab area is simliar to the Urobours test chamber where the boss battle takes place. Wow. How come I've never heard of this before? Was it some kind of super secrect stage?

Although, what's silly is that how the heck is it testing P30 when Jill is just shooting them? Well, I guess that's what happens when your only gameplay element possible is lightguning. Lol

Yeah, you get the Secret Stage in Umbrella Chronicles after you beat all the scenarios and sub-scenarios in the game. I completely agree with Jill's Boob about its connection to RE5. A lot of people speculated it had something to do with Sherry beforehand because, as you can see from the video, the perspective looks "low" like a child, and when you die, all you hear is a female scream (which, admittedly, is just a reused sample of Rebecca's death scream in the game, but that's obviously just Capcom being lazy).

I think it's safe to say the scenario has something to do with Jill, though, which really adds something increasingly creepy about the stage... That stage always gave me the chills. It's so strange, and the fact you never had a clear answer who you are playing adds a really unsettling mystery, especially at the end, when you manage to beat the stage, and the person walks away, going back into some kind of chamber thing, as Jill's Boob described. I only ever beat that stage twice, though. It's so fucking hard with the one-hit-you're-dead. Especially with the very last enemy, who is vicious!

Here's another video of someone actually beating the stage. It's low-quality, so it's sort of hard to see, but you can make out enough to see the ending.

The Special Stage from Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, I believe the person you are is Jill Valentine sources are from Resident Evil 5. She was captu...

And, Jill's Boob, thank you for bringing this up again. I wanted to mention it for a really long time, but I kept forgetting.

I'm in the mood to play this stage again. Always freaks me out. The only stage in all of UC that actually scared me.

              • If you listen to the scream when the person dies it's clearly Rebecca's voice. That was just a bonus stage they threw in to leak a teaser trailer for re5. At the end all you see is the "tube girl" that we know to be Jill, unconscious in the tank. Maybe they modeled it to look similar but that is Rebecca's voice character.

Wow. How come I've never heard of this before? Was it some kind of super secrect stage?
It wasn't that super secret hehe. You had to finish all stages to unlock it.

But man, I had totally forgot about that stage.

                    • That stage is one of the stranger things in RE besides Tofu and thought that is was just for fun and didn't mean anything. A lot of people thought it was Sherry but after RE 5 it is possible that it is Jill like Jill's Boob said.

                      • OMG GREAT FINDING! That's definitely a link to RE5.

Thank you so much for bringing this up Jill's Boob.

                        • Shivers each time I play that stage or watch someone else play it. God, it's so unsettling. That music. So very creepy.

                          • I could never get past the third level of that. I'm so bad at it. XD

But yeah, now that people are mentioning it, it would definitely make sense if it was Jill. However, if it's really meant to be, why use Rebecca's death scream and not Jill's?

My thoughts: They wanted to keep the identity of the person secret. Granted, later on they did a pretty shitty job of this by basically telling you it's Jill, but at first they wanted to throw people off. I mean, it's only now that we're connecting the dots, so we wouldn't have known then that it was Jill. I think Capcom wanted it to be that way.

Or Capcom was just being retarded as usual.

                            • The choice of scream is certainly strange but... yeah, it was most likely to throw us off-guard. Perhaps they were aware of the heavy speculation of Sherry in RE5 and thus chose to use the most child-like scream they had available to keep us guessing... instead of, you know, recording an entirely different one, which obviously would have been too much work for them. :p

Speaking of which, does anyone know for certain if Patricia Ja Lee voiced Jill in Umbrella Chronicles, too? To me, the voices sound identical, but I can't seem to find a reliable source to confirm it. I think the way she voices Jill in RE5 is quite excellent. I enjoy how, after all these years, Capcom still gives Jill a deeper, slightly masculine voice compared to most of the females.
