Not a bad theory on Excella above. Could have some truth to it but I did notice in a trailer the other day that Excella is giving Birdlady injections. She is also in the background during the scene where Birdlady fights Chris and Sheva and does that backwards flip. Whatever Excella's agenda is, Wesker is one step ahead of her, he definatley double crosses and even kills her before the end of the game. He's too smart to fall for her ploy. Like I said after seeing that trophie called "Master Of Removing" it's pretty much confirmed that Jill can either die or be saved and this is smart for Capcom because they will bring her back for Re6 then people will wanna know her story. Dont expect to get too much info on Jill in this game. I think she will have about 10 minutes screen time in the bird outfit and only minutes unmasked.

I disagree about Jill not getting much screen time, i think we will get a few flashbacks involving her to answer a few of those questions.

Do you think there might be like a subplot with Jill? like on resident evil 4 with Ada.

i think other than Chris VS Wesker most of the story will revolve around Jill, and i think that means there is a high chance of playing as her in a seperate ways kinda mission

Hm have been playing the demo alot lately, Sheva alomar is quite beautiful actually ingame but she still isn't anything like the Jill we have came to love as a character.

I doubt she could replace her as a character, it would bother me quite a bit but i could live with it "if" i had to do so.

On another note isn't it funny how we get so attached to game/story characters like real people?

Seperate ways kind of side quest would make me really happy if it was with Jill, might be a good way for Capcom to answer a few questions if that really is Jill (birdlady). It would add another dimension to the game also i feel.

I'd love to have a Seperate Ways game starring Jill would make me buy Re5 for that reason, but I really dont think it will happen look at the leaked demo spoilers doesnt mention any side games cept for Merc's. Sorry but I dont think Capcom would be that good to us, This multi player thing is their main attaction and then you got Merc's I got the feeling they think they've done enough. Also dont think Jill goes through the background like Ada did killing people she is on the same side as the Majini it seems, so wouldnt be much of a game if you dont have any enemies to kill and Ada is a side character not a main one so Jill will get her own game fingers crossed.

That would only mean she would be a side character in this game, i would rather that then "dead" or not much screen time of her own.

I think she will have her own game soon enough, but just because someone get's their own side quest like seperate ways doesn't mean they are not important.. Jill might help Chris in way's we don't know yet.

Something i read earlier from some guy on youtube, Sheva might actually be like Ada like a double agent and betrays him at the end of the game.

I could imagine a massive battle at the end where Jill comes to her senses and help's chris and a kind of heart warming moment, for some reason that madonna song remind's me of that "die another day".

To kill Wesker they are going to need more then Sheva and Chris that is for sure.

Tricell might be the next big company that will bring lots of new enemies and characters to the game if he does die (Wesker).

Maybe they will let Wesker live through another game but theres a good chance he might die, this game might be to bring Tricell into the fold and end Wesker's story.

I still think RE6 will have Jill as the main character if she doesn't die that is, revenge for the mind control or drugging?

I really hope wesker dies. Really bad. If the series is going to keep going then they should probably take mikami's advice and move on with a new story/characters. I'm not saying I'm going to play it when that happens but it's better than ruining the original story by pumping out sequel after sequel until it has nothing to do with the original plot/characters that drew us to the series in the first place.

I love wesker, but he has to go. I'm also thinking that Jill could possibly die, but that might be a bit of a stretch. All I know is that not Sherry and Jill can make it out alive. It's just too many survivors. Chris, Sheeva, Sherry, Jill all make it out alive...with all the madness/epic revelations/fights that's going on in RE5 i kinda doubt it.

well, Sheva can die, those video's could be just to create hype.

and also, the only good thing i can see with Jill dyeing is it MAY prevent capcom from completey ruining and raping her character with OVER NINE THOOUSAND!!! sequels and prequels and retcons.

If Capcom killed her now, they would be shooting themselves in the leg.

Think about it, why kill a fan favourite and why release a trailer saying she is going to die i.e the tombstone if she really is going to die.. that would be giving away major spoilers.

Somehow i don't think Capcom is that stupid.

capcom wants money, killing Jill = fans leaving the series, and that means less money for capcom, they won't kill her.

Make what you will of it, as for me i think it means "Jill is alive"

I hope no one has posted this before, i can't remember this in the list before but i thought i would bring this up.

any ideas or views on this?
