Maybe like... A Quad Core prototype that performs better, but then overheats and explodes or something. It wasn't exactly stable.

^ Pretty good ways of describing them.

I'll stick with the T-virus though. Much better to have an army of braindead power houses that respond to simple commands, than to have an army of super-intelligent superhumans that could be willing to backstab you.

Not only that, but it's not like a T-Virus mutation is exactly instant. So you got your friend walking around, his skin is starting to rot, he's blistering, but he's conscious... Then you slowly watch as his intelligence goes... Do you kill your own friend, or let him become a zombie? Either way it's a lose lose. That's mental anguish right there.
Plus if he does turn into a zombie, he still looks like your friend... So you got this human-like thing walking around, ready to eat you...
As opposed to G-Virus, which mutates something that shortly loses any resemblance of a human. I mean, look at Birkin, by the end, he looked like a skinned dog lion whale thing. I wouldn't think twice about firing a bullet into something like that. But a guy who was my buddy... I'd hesitate..

That raises a new question: Why exactly were those USFU[?] soldiers sent to get Williams virus's if all they do is turn people into giant, mutated, blobbed, eight-legged freaks?

I don't think they knew exactly what it would do. They had a vague idea from Lisa, who produced the base for the virus, but Birkin's synthesized virus was an unknown.

Also, Birkin was pretty "human" for weeks. He just has swollen muscles and the eye. It's once he starts getting shot repeatedly that his mutation really starts to break his body down.
Growing new heads and brains at whim is a nifty power though.

Perhaps... I guess if say a wounded soldier in battle were to be given a certain amount of the virus, it'd simply heal his wounds and he'd be fine to go back into the battle again.

William took a large needle and filled it to max before injecting himself, so the virus could have had too much of an effect on his wounds. Like you say, not only did the bullet wounds heal, the muscles in his damaged arm grew larger and got tougher, and maybe the eye was created in his right shoulder to "guard" that side of his body.

Perhaps because the host had been badly wounded on the his right side once already, the G-virus decided to grow something, in this case, an eyeball, to keep check on it's hosts right side to make sure he's never wounded there again. And to make double sure he doesn't suffer damage in the same spot, the G-virus had grown giant claws on the hosts fist to kill anything that tried to harm the host. Eventually, after realizing the whole eye-check-surveillance routine worked well, the G-virus decided to give it's host giant eye's on both shoulders, to guard the top area, and both thighs, to survey the lower area, all whilst growning more arms to make extra sure it could take care of any opponent if need be.

The virus perhaps grow a new monster-head with a new brain so it could process thought more efficiently, like a human being, and to help itself think properly it gave the new head a new set of red eye's so that it could see/process what was going on directly infront of it, and not just the sides.

Essentially, "G" from stage 2-5, is just a giant, living parasite that can act like a really, really pissed off human being.

And why the hell do I know all this shit?

Birkin was creating it for Umbrella from the beginning. No matter what the final product was, they still wanted their precious virus

It's hard for me to pick between the G-Virus or the NE-virus.

                    The G-virus. It's sheer perfection.

Cant just inject yourself "a little" and hope for a miracle. If youre infected, youre infected. Thats how diseases work. If youre infected with a virus, its going to use your cells to multiply. The only chance would be if your body would develop a certain level of immunity to G, but thats a far stretch.

Fair enough. Question: Are virus's and disease's the same thing?

Disease is the condition itself. Diseases don't have to come from viruses, but viruses do cause diseases.

Thanks. So going by this, G is one disease-ridden S.O.B.

Anyone that is infected with any of the viruses turn into a big blob. So I guess I would have to pick my favorite blob and that would be Birkin so I guess I like the G virus.
