Pretend there's an icecream company that sells mint chocolate, it's trendy, everyone loves it for a year. Then the trend wears off and sales go down to reasonable demand. So they need to EVOLVE it, right??? They remove the MINT altogether but they still call it MINT chocolate. us classic fans should raid capcom and delete all traces of RE5, proclaim RE4 non canon, then get to work on Outbreak 3, Remake 2, Remake 3, and a Remake of CVX, then after that's done start making compltely new RE games in the classic style.

Look at its origins. Resident Evil 1, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3. Wesker was in ONE of those games.
What they established after (that Wesker hired Ada, that he was there all along, etc.) doesn't change what RE1 2 and 3 were. Instead, it changes what the series is, and that's exactly what's wrong with the series now. They didn't just changed what the games are, but they changed what the entire series is about. That's why I want nothing to do with it anymore.

Thats what i do, yes i said i welcome the newer re style, but i also like the orginals too. Ive enjoyed all resident evil games, the reason is because it IS an RE game. What ever happens in the game is because it was meant to be that way. Its the same with the MGS series and DMC, yes it's fun to find out all the details about the game, but sometimes it's better to just sit back and enjoy it as it is.

I find this idea intruiging. You mean I should enjoy the game because it says 'Resident Evil' in the title? But...I play the games for horror, exploration and puzzles. And RE4 has none of these things, or at best in a limited capacity.

So, this means you love the movies, right? And Gaiden? Survivor and Survivor 2? You love every game, right, including the mobile ones, yes? All of them? And what about, for example, Resident Evil: Dress Me Up, the game where you can dress Barry in various outfits? And nothing else...

Well, the last one doesn't exist. But the point is this: If I have to turn my brain off to play a game and go, 'Title = awesome' then that series no longer deserves my loyalty. It's that simple. I'll give a series loyalty just as long as it does the same for me.

Thats Bull Ahit because Hideo Kojima Was able to push the limits with the first MGS title for the PSX.He was able to make The Cyborg Ninja do back flips,jump in tha air and stomp Snake at the same time.Also the PSX graphics were awsome.So technology wasn't too limited.Remember think before you speak.
