Let's say you got the hippies that protest against the government, and the military, they're a movement, because they're not just wasting space.
Same with the emo culture, yes, if your life is actually hard, and your single mother is a drug addict who sleeps with random men for her next hit of crack, I can see why you'd always be depressed, and want to cut on yourself to relieve your emotional pain. Etc.
But then there's the people who do it because it's a trend, just to fit in. Cut themselves for attention. When they live in a big, luxurious house with two parents who have great jobs and provide everything for their children.

You know, this is exactly why Vaders "uniform" looks terribad in real life.

Sometimes, what looks almost good (or OK, depending on whatever floats your boat) in games, will almost always look bad in real life.

I wonder how much more are those holsters and utility bags going to cost, compared to the exactly the same airsoft gear (which are already cheap copies of RL gear)?

It'a also not necessarily the clothesthemselves - it's the person wearing them. I doubt anyone putting them on will be as fit as Leon. I don't agree with the people who say Leon was too muscley in RE4 but he was still in awesome shape. And the kind of people who buy this stuff...aren't. I'll vouch for that.
