  • Which could cause more destruction?

People have brought this up before, but I'm curious as to what you guys think.

Take a small town like Raccoon as the setting. Then release either ten Gs or ten Zombies, which do you think would cause more destruction? Consider that Gs are very destructive when there's just one(a group of zombies causes quite a bit but not as much) and zombies can multiply incredibly quickly (Gs can multiply but at a much slower rate).

I've head pople say zombies are more destructive and others say G is, what do you think?

A situation with 10 Gs would certainly be easier to get "under control".
The 10 zombies, assuming they get the chance to at least strike at one place with a so-so crowd before armed forces are put against them, would probably get out of control faster.

So the zombies are in general the ones you should fear the most, "if" successful. 10 Gs would "just" be like having a set of huge raging elephants around. Easy to track, easy to make sure you've got every one of and the moment one shows up and wrecks havoc, the chances are rather high that armed forces will be called in. Unlike with the zombies where you'll probably have a few incidents of "stay away from me, hobo!" or "Look! He's drunk!" (Shaun of the Dead style), followed by casualties and people calling just for regular help (ambulance + a patrol vehicle) before it's too late.

At least that's how I see it.

Zombies. They multiply way faster than G's, so if we are talking about massive casualties and fast virus spreading than our decomposing friends are the winers. G's gona cause a bigger destruction (like broken buildings etc) But zombies are much more effective as BOW, especially in the city that is fool of unprepared civilians.

As for what I mean exactly by destruction, I pretty much mean which would cause more deaths and physical destruction of the city. And just for clarification, when released, no one in the city even knows these things exist.

In that case, the G's, hands down. They are definitely tougher. Just shoot the T's in the head and that's it, with the G's, you would need a lot of rocket launcher ammunition. Remember how Birkin wasted all of those Umbrella guys who did have heavy weaponry (machine guns) in a very short time.

That's what I figured. Gs are damn tough and they would wipe out the SWAT guys just as easily as the zombies did in RE3.

To be fair, at least he kind of makes that look sort of good. I've seen people try to imitate it and they just look downright awful. Leon's hair is never meant to be made real.

Yeah, but I've seen people who aren't cosplayers try and actually look like Leon. He cut his hair all wrong and it was like several inches longer than Leon's and we all laughed and had a good day, except for him.

Zombies for sure. If each zombie bit ten people before they were dealt with, that's 100 more zombies, and if each of them bit ten people...

Zombies, each zombie affects a bunch of people and those zombies affect even more till no one is left

The G-monsters would initially be more dangerous, and cause more damage to the city, since a freakish mutant would dice through concrete pretty quick. But they probably wouldn't get much of a chance to make more G-monsters unless the city is really, really bad already. As soon as the National Guard are summoned they're gonna get rocket luanchers to the face, and probably within the hour of there intial sighting.

Zombies would cause destruction on a slower pace, but unless people knew what they were they wouldn't be destroyed. They'd be taken for treatment, thrown in cells, etc. And they'd likely be able to infect a number of people before being captured or contained, who would turn and then infect there family or apartment block, etc.

Damage to the city itself would be limited, at least to start with, but as fires start getting out of control, explosives are used to try and block them, gas pipes crack and explode...the fact that they'll be so many zombies and so few people in such a shot ammount of time means the damage to the city may well be total, as with Raccoon City where they just nuked the damned place.

I reckon G it mutates much faster than the T when someone turns into a G monster they have abillty infect others by implantation of G-embryos and it can only be accepted fully by hosts with a suitable genetic makeup if not the embryo will rapidly grow inside the host's body and will burst from their chest in a matter of minutes then they will then quickly mutate into their adult form and search for another host.
