Where are the women?

Did Capcom take the female zombies out of RE5? I don't see them in recent trailers, nor the demo.

You know...that's a good question. I don't remember seeing any in the demo either. However after a certain point in RE4 you stopped seeing female enemies so I assume that may be something RE5 will do too.

...you do know that one in sixty serial killers are women, right? And there are plenty of female assassins and such? And, of course, Jill is gonna come round your house and end your ass.

I'm hoping that they simply haven't been included on this version, for some reason. It would be a real step back for RE to loose female zombies.

Funny enough I said this the other day someone said Claire wont be back because she is done with all this fighting stuff Rebbeca is...god knows but she aint round anymore and they may have killed off Jill. So that leaves Ada who has never been a full time character anyway. Maybe they will now use Sheva and Sherry god knows but like I said before its becoming a major sausage fest.

RE1 - 1 male & 1 female character
RE2 - 1 male & 1 female character
RE3 - 1 female character
RECV - 1 male & 1 female character
RE4 - 1 male (?) character
RE5 - 1 male & 1 female character

Seems quite balanced.

As far as enemies are concerned, Mist was right in that the female ganados tapered off as you progressed into RE4. (And I don't remember a single female zombie in RE1...)

They had some in the 2007 trailer, but after the little controversy they weren't seen again. But they will probibly be included in the final release.

but yeah i think RE is turning into a sausage fest now, and it sucks since RE has a great female cast and there not using them like they should do.

Jill is supposedly dead.

Claire was supposedly not even used in Degeneration and Leon does everything, and someone told me that's going to be her last appearance, im not sure haven't seen it yet though, but it doesn't sound good.

and Rebecca disappeared of the face of the earth after the mansion incident.

and Ada, well she's the only girl left and she's a supporting character.

Sheva looks to be only in one game.

and the Outbreak girls wil probably never make an appearance again.
