i don't rant on about it, this is the first time i brought it up.

and i don't mean to word things like there fact, it's just how i type, sorry.

well she is my favorite charactert ever, it's why im so annoyed at capcom right now.

and i do like males as well, i like Kratos from GOW, and Wesker and Barry from RE, and Boba Fett and Han Solo from star wars, and the list goes on, i like many male characters as well, just tend to like my female characters a lot more.

If anything, her getting her own game counters your argument. Barry was far more important in RE1 (and the events leading to it), yet he never got his own game. That could be called out as anti-male sentiment, if I were to use your logic that Capcom purposefully uses sexist ideas in utilizing game characters.
i want Barry to get his own game as well, i hope he's in RE6 or 7 as the main protagonist, but i also hope Rebecce returns somehow, even if it is just as a side role again.

This took place SIX years after the first RE game where there was a single primary FEMALE heroine. I guess RE5 can be considered another game with a single primary MALE protagonist, but, since the game has yet to be released, we don't know 100%. And no matter what, Chris has Sheva with him almost every step of the way. And she is playable for (nearly) the entire game by another player.
im not just talking about RE5, im talking about the whole series, and this is justmy theory, but Leon in RE4 and Degeneration, and it SEEMS like Chris has RE5, we haven't had any girls for a while see.

It must be frustrating...but I think you are making it worse on yourself than it has to be. Just believe. Believe that RE6 will feature a strong female lead of great will & character. For your sake, I hope it does.
i hope so too, i just like to share my thoughts that all.

and i just think there needs to be more GOOD female leads in games, with actual character not just boobs.

i agree, and it's part of the reasoin i like the RE girls most of all, i love Jill and Rebecca's STARS uniform, and Jill's beret is so cute, i love her RE3 outfit as well, i don't think it's too bad, a lot of girls wear skirts, XD at least it's not as bad as some of the stuff girls wear in other games.

At least it's not a pathetic school skirt like Ashley's. I don't see anything wrong in Jill's RE3 outfit.

Well of course there's something wrong with it, because it was a mini skirt and boob tube exposing as much flesh as possible when she knew about the T-Virus and that exposing so much flesh would have put her at a much higher risk of T-Virus infection. It wasn't made to be logical, it was made to please her male fan base.

So what if Jill wants to please the male audience dont be jealous. Thats why we love her.

Uhhh...you mean the creepy guys that made Jill wanted the male population to enjoy it. I gotta agree, during a zombie outbreak I'd wear a lot more than that in the hope that the zombies couldn't rip through the clothes as fast as flesh.

Well maybe she was coming from a party when the breakout happened. Are you saying you always dress for the occasion that a T-Virus breakout will occur in your city devasating the foundations of mankind that eats its way through your town and takes over the entire population of America in 1 week! Because I hear that Calvin Klein has opened a new clothing line specially for that case its a real nice look.

I strongly doubt the outbreak happened within a few short hours. Jill also had previous knowledge about the infection and what it does to people. Jill probably also wouldn't have been in the mood for partying.
Though I think her outfit is obviously for fan service, my only issue with it is that it wasn't practicle for the situation. Am I offended that a company is using flesh to sell a game? Not in the least bit. At least Capcom hasn't started patting themselves on the back for putting in independent breast physics.

I hope in the new levels they may show at the Bay Area event may have some of the female enemies to contend with.

Oh come on, it was a sunny day, she was wearing casual clothes... what's the matter with that? I don't see anything wrong with it. She was cool.

I have to agree that she was wearing something causal and was in a hurry when the outbreak occured. I think Ada's outfit in RE 4 was a little more ridiculous but thats a whole other story.

Does anyone here really think Jill would go, 'Huh, mysterious violence and people assaulting each other with there teeth. Nah, can't be related to the Mansion Incident that took place so near here when we know monsters were left in the woods near it. Time to go party!'

The Outbreak didn't go from one zombies to thousands in a few hours. It took about a few days. For someone like Jill, who would still be getting information out of the RPD and would know more about what was happening than most, to decide to go partying...I'm sorry, I just have more respect for Jill's character and common sense than that.

The only reason I can think was she was doing something that required being seductive and headed back to her apartment, only to be caught in one of the earlier parts of the Outbreak. Even then you'd imagine she'd look a shop to get better gear.

i agree with P anderson die here.

i think she must have been doing something when the outbreak started, and was caught in those clothes.

anyways it doesn't really worry me much, i like all her outfits, and remember tomb raider was getting famous back then with Lara Croft, so yeah, not a huge shock seeing how capcom will do anythig for more money.

Why can't agree to disagree that Jill's outfit is nothing more than fan service and it has no meaning to the plot of the series at all, and that once more somehow the topic has jumped from what the original post was about to more Jill theories?

Maybe you should take your own advice?

Why do you post something that contributes nothing to this thread, just to take a pot shot at me? Your cowardly action shows you are truly above "arguing." Good job.
