In my opinion the worst boss fight is against nemesis in 3 where you have to shoot the acid valves to burn him away bit by bit. Maybe it was just me but those handles were a pain to actually hit and when you did Nemesis was already up in your grill looking for dinner.

Best boss fight would have to be the tyrant at the end of the first game. Collecting everything you had to fight this monstrosity on the rooftop. Inventory filled with herbs in case he hit you with that over-powered claw strike. Clock ticking down until the facility exploded. Then finally the rocket launcher save after you've done most the damage. Good times.

Um, you know that Capcom says RE4 is canon, right? So it kinda did screw over the story. Now RE is infested with parasites the size of a human torso that can grow to about five or six times their size in a matter of mere seconds. And in an RE5 trailer, I'm pretty sure I saw one that erupts from someone's body and can fly. Sounds like a ruined story to me!

Well, that and Leon's one-liners kinda killed it too.

Parasites been around since RE3 technically. Pseudo-science is the backbone of RE and Las Plagas is just that.

Yes, but there's a big difference between 'A parasite allows this monster to fire a gun' and ,'Hi there, you've blown off the head of my host so I'm going to pop out and have a go myself!' Although I suspect it'll be discovered Nemesis parasite is related to Las Plagas, or possibly that it was a Las Plagas and Nemesis was working in a double cross swerve with Saddler, and Saddlers big boss, Enrico, who faked his death so he could run everything via his magical five computer AI's.

                Or something.

Older RE, techno-thriller, pseudoscience, makebelief through makesense.
Parasites dont fit the formula. Parasites are like magic rabbits foot, its just there, so you ought to accept it and forget about it, jut play the game and shoot some sh!t up.

The undeniable proof is in these very forums. When was the last time anyone saw Las Plagas to be connected with our modern science?

The best would have to be any fight with Nemesis. It made the game intense and nerve racking.

The worst would be the fight with TALOS. The boss was just horrible. I thought Sergei was a lot better as a final boss.

                      NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i suspect this will happen as well, i fear for NEMESIS, he may lose his BADASSNESS, i don't want that to happen by him somehow being connected to Saddler.

                      please capcom, no more retcons.

Best fights would include all of the Nemesis fights, both Birkin fights on the elevator. Nosferatu in CV:X was interesting as well.

Worst fights would have to be the Gravedigger, T.A.L.OS, The adult Albinoid in Code Veronica and the Sergei fight in UC.

                            Favourite fights would include:

                            - Tyrant fight in the lab at the end of the original.

                            - Birkin at the end of RE2

                            - Anything involving Nemesis

                            Worst

                            - U3. The whole cage thing annoyed me

                            - The bat from zero. Just... boring

                            - Salazar. Irritating, felt good to finally kill the screaming midget 'tho.

Never could connect Las Plagas to modern science. No real explanation to it, when it was retconned, all we got was some theory about "dog whistles", where some explanation should have been given because it was the basis for a whole game, after years of waiting.

Did you miss all of Luis' memos? They explain how Las Plagas works. Ada just puts in the theroy of how they are controlled by one single Plaga.
