Yeah... Like AdaxLeon. I mean hey, I already know I like them together personally, but I don't need to be told over and over again. As for the people who don't, ouch...

Haha at the video, I can't believe I didn't 'interpret' that scene like that when I read it the first time.

RE4 and the RE movies are more alike than you think (save for Alexia, thank goodness she wasn't in the "bargain bin TRASH" that was RE4). The difference being that in the movies, it doesn't affect the storyline whereas, go figure, RE4 (unfortunately) does. That's another reason I like the movies. They don't take the storyline and, like RE4 did... chained it up buck-naked outside in the middle of winter and dump cold water on it until it freezes to death, then melt it in the spring and lather it in honey so the bugs can eat the carcass clean.

          On topic...

@REmaster: Caliban Cove could've been a lot better, yeah. And Underworld could've been improved, but I still liked it. I still think Code: Veronica is her weakest in the series though. The adaptations of the first three games were nicely done, I personally liked City of the Dead the best to be honest.
No it's not ok for anyone to do any of that. That made RE4 suck.

Nemesis had tentacles in RE3 which is fine.

I'm starting to think Alice is starting to become just like Alexia

And it does affect the story, my roommate only knows the anderson crap, so he thinks the T-virus and bring the dead back to life, the scene in the graveyard was stupid. He thinks S.T.A.R.S. members all suck. And that Clare is a 50+ year old hag.

And to top it all off, after watching the anderson crap, now he thinks Resident Evil sucks. Now I've got to convince him it doesn't suck before March 13, so I can have someone to play co-op with. And for the greatest punchline, RE5 is going to suck, compared to the older game. I'll like the game, but after hyping Resident Evil up for the next few months, it'll be a let down. Hopefully RE Degeneration won't suck.

I enjoyed all of her books, minus her two original stories (godawful). I mean, all the language was just pointless and annoying to read.. But, as far as the novelizations of RE1 and RE2, I really, really loved them. Got me through eighth grade, lol.

I've even reread RE1 and RE2 many times over, I enjoyed them that much.

I liked her other books, Caliban Cove and Underworld (I think?) The games were meant to be games, their stories make a good game, but as a book it's just not fitting. She did port them over well adding extra when the story needed to advance the characters. But finding keys, solving puzzles, and looking for ammo, doesn't read well.

Where as the other books were just books.

Totally agree with you here. The only thing that I didn't liked was small differences comparing with games. Like: Wesker is killed by chimeras in the mansion, Claire kills Tyrant with uzi etc. They were pissing me off.

Well, one of the endings to RE, if Barry wasn't there to help you with Jill anyway, was Wesker going to go set the self destruct and ending up dead in the power room. I guess that's where she got the idea from.

Yeah I know that, but still it's not a canonical ending so it felt kinda wrong. But as I said it's mostly this small moments, so overall I was able to enjoy this books.

I may be wrong, be when Perry wrote Umbrella Conspiracy RECV (with Wesker's Report) wasn't released yet, so the only canonical thing about Wesker's fate was that he was killed in the mansion.

Well I know that either, buuut I red them just a couple of mounth ago. And it was just my personal opinion afterall. But as I said, I'll lie if I'll say that I didn't enjoyed them. It was a fun read.

Well if we're going in to chronological inconsistency, how about the ending of RE Zero? Rebecca leaves finds the mansion in the morning, but Chris finds her at night in RE1.

And Perry had to pick her own ending, because it changed in RE1 depending on which person you played as.

I enjoyed all the RE books because they were well written and a good way to waste time. =]
