Oh, Ganados are props, you're right, they have nothing to do with the gameplay and you just don't shoot at them. I'll go upto one and stare it in the eye and it won't touch me coz like, its not part of the gameplay.

Look up the definition of "gameplay". Gameplay is your interaction with the game, how you control the character. "Ganados" are nothing to do with the gameplay, they are the enemies in the game. Hey, Saddler was part of the gameplay. Salazar was part of the gameplay too! Gameplay is used to relate to things such as the inventory system, the aiming system, the movement system, the camera angles etc. It's like I'd say the real time inventory screen in RE5 is a new gameplay addition, and I wouldn't say the Majini are a gameplay addition, would I? It's an incorrect term to use. I'm not debating the fact that Ganados are lame, I hated them too. But it's not gameplay. The gameplay was innovative, fun, and fresh to the series.

"Gameplay is your interaction with the game"

You fucking kill the fucking enemies, how is that not fucking interaction? Fucking stupidity and waste of bandwith in your post.

Strange how that was completely fucking ignored. Well, time to go infraction throwing. Five - ten points for each post bitching and arguing after my instruction not to should be good I reckon, depending on the level of rudeness and such.

          Seriously, folks. Unamused.

I got 20-40 points, gimme my cookie.

            Now I believe it was you, Darkmoon, who once taunted me on MSN to side with "Dot", good job of being a fellow man and moderator of this lovely establishment. I am 99.9% sure I am not mistaken >:}

            Seriously, dude. Unamused

Yeah, so back on topic. I couldn't have wished for more in RE5, but I do sincerely wish that they'd consider remaking RE2 or CVX, rather than wasting their time porting everything to the Wii. RE0 and REmake pretty much are the Wii anyway, they're GameCube, and these new ports offer you the chance to use the GameCube controller, on the Wii. o.O

Now you just went off-topic, that message could obviously have been a PM. >_> smart move. [Long time ago too, doubt you remember :} ]

The new ports are useless, yes, but I still bought RE0 and plan to "get" REmake for the Wii just for the sake of collection. Bring on RE2make.

Actually during a recent interview Jun Takeuchi said that he would love to remake RE 2, we will heard more about that after the release of RE 5 i'm sure.

I'm sure they will eventually. After all it's one of the main games and probably one of the most wanted games by the new RE4 fanbase. Honestly though, I don't think I could play RE2 if I hadn't grown up with the controls. It kinda alienates new fans.

Then again I'm not sure how I'd feel with the new over the shoulder camera with RE2. I guess I'll never know until I've tried it. It could work, but then again it just may not feel right.

A remake of 2 would be excellent, but I'm not sure if I'd prefer the old or the new control scheme for it. The new control scheme would fit Nemesis to a tee, since it was pretty actiony to start with, but I'm not so sure if it would be a good fit for RE2.

My other concern is they'd make it a single story, with Leon as the main character (and more resembling RE4 Leon) and with Claire as a side kick, or maybe a Sheva like character, or something equally unappealing. If they didn't do it right it would be awful.

If Capcom puts Takeuchi on charge for the RE 2 remake then we have no problem, he will make a great game i'm sure for that. Probably the remake will follow the routes of the old games like the RE 1 remake.

Oh you can already do that on the Wii, just hook in your GC controller and put in a memory card and you're all set

So yes, this makes the port more useless.

Yes, there has been mention of it.

A RE2make would be great. The new control scheme will make for an interesting game play. Not only will it work but I think it will actually increase the horror factor. What would be great though - in addition to the new control scheme - in some special locations there can be static camera angles, just to make it more dramatic.

I also agree with Darkmoon that the new control scheme would perfectly fit RE3. Given the amount of action there is in that game, such a scheme is vital for game play.

thay would have to change areas of the game inorder to add new gameplay,I mean seriously how Are you going to fight an action battle in the balcony of the police station? some areas are just too small and narrow for it to happen, though your not fighting fast granados but slow Zombies,so I really dont know.
