Ahem, RE4 with better graphics anyone?

Resident Evil 5 with co-op, different areas, tweaked game play, more animations and improved AI, with a good story line, based on the same enemies from the previous series with the new biological creatures to fit with the reasons why they are their, eg, tTri-Cell, and this is from what we only know and not actualy have played the full game.


I could say your comment on previous titles from the series on how much similar they are, it's the point on why it is "Resident Evil", and I would recommend to play the demo of Resident Evil 5 and then compare the difference on the game-play from to 5 on how tweaked and the enemies AI/animations, from just a demo build of E3, with even the game not out yet.

Well I played the demo and at first I thought ok looks good plays good but it just dont have that replay factor that the rest had and also 4 was missing. I guess it's still Re in the fact that you are always thinking whats next what do I need to plan ahead on, where as the first few games where slow paced planning ahead 4 and 5 are very fast. Guess I just rather the slow paced, more tension and build up while you are thinking ok whats next. With 4 and 5 they are too fast to give it anytime for tension and build up and before you know it the fights probably over.

I mean you gotta fight, babysit, plan your inventory with no pause screen, pick up items, scout ahead all at the same time? Am I getting to old for games because I cant be assed to do all this. I just wanna take my time shoot some enemies and be abit more stratigic than running in guns blazing. Thats a good way to get ya head blown off.

I don't like how I'm doing with RE5 what I did with MGS4...figuring out most of the game through trailers.

Although I don't think RE5 will have a bombshell at the end like MGS4 did.

Maybe. MGS is very popular but you can't call it a game, it's like watching a movie and they let you play a little bit. It's 70% cutscenes and CODEC trasmissions and 30% gameplay and don't get me wrong I LOVE MGS.

So Capcom are being lazy for using previous enemies from the series, much like they have done for each title, and with valid reasons why they are in the game? If you're annoyed then just ignore it, but I see no reason why you've got to contradict on what you just said.

Why? The gameplay is fun, they have to use semi-human enemies to be able to incorporate AI but nevertheless it's a brilliant game and you're hating on it for invalid reasons. They are far from lazy.

And that data shouldn't be being posted on here. It doesn't even look correct anyway as it doesn't specify Wesker as a boss, which he obviously is from all the trailers we've seen.

That's your opinion, many others could happily disagree. And you seem to get your own biased thoughts from judging the game for what the team is trying to do. I wont bother on with this, because I will be enjoying this with many others and discussing on what to expect, than rather bitching and being negative on a series I still enjoy

Well, i have completed the demo many many times.

I love it, and i think all of you will aswell.. what they do is put alot of those plagas into the game and add some kind of mini boss on occasion, i don't really get scared in any game but i do tend to panic when i get surrounded by that many plagas like people.

All in all i love this game, it's ALOT better then resident evil 4 in many aspects.

This might get game of the year if the story is as good as the gameplay.

I would rate it 10/10 for a demo, and this demo does not even have all the updates on it like better AI and control options that recently have been announced.

I find it funny that people are slagging off RE5 before they've even had a chance to play the game, or even the demo. That just shows they are complaining for the sake of it. Anyone who actually gave the game a chance and wasn't to eat up over RE4 would see that this game has a lot of potential.

Totally, what makes me angry is people complaining about the lack of zombies.

I mean resident evil is about BOW's not just zombies it has alot more depth then that, i am not saying these people are "stupid" but they don't see the wider scope of things.

I have also read some very silly blogs commenting over how much this game was a clone of resident evil 4?

Most people can see the evolution of the series, most reviews (professional) have picked up on the difference's and the recent innovations added to make this game better.

They have simply took the good thing's from resident evil 4 which sold ALOT of copies that people liked, then added them to resident evil 5 with alot of improvement's not to mention the many thing's that make resident evil 5 unique from resident evil 4.

My hat is off to Capcom, i think this game will far surpass resident evil 4.
