I don't see anything in the video that portrays Chris losing his "nerve." Is it the fact that Chris looks mildly irritated at the fact that he is forced to have a partner and would rather do this mission alone? Is it the slight movement forward he makes when the guy frisks Sheva as if he's about the falcon punch the guy? If anything he seems like good 'ol Chris to me, ready to backhand enemies... and do so alone.
