Jill getting old? Lara Croft is 50 years old and she looks fantastic! It's ridiculous for them to say that Jill might get old so they pass the iconic RE status to Claire who is LESS yes THAT LESS popular than Jill Valentine. I think Capcom just wanted to catch our attention... I may be wrong though.

LOL. Perhaps I should say she's past the age when a lady is most attractive to a normal average guy imo the age range of many game characters are 20ish isn't it?

In keeping up with the idea for this thread, do you think Jill will get her own short scenario as one of the bonus things you get with 5, like a Separate Ways scenario Ada had in 4 ? The latest news says the extras are the best given to an RE game, and this seems like a good thing to have.

Let's not compare Lara to Jill... Lara deals with supernatural beings like demi gods and mythological creatures. I wouldn't be surprised to find out her mother is part goddess or her father is Zeus or something.

It hink we will actually, and i think its a great idea as well. It could make for some cool plot coverage, maybe how she got to be in Re5, or maybe after ..wahtever. Jill for seperate ays = win, but i think everyone knowst he best would be wesker seperate ways.

I think Jill works better, she seems to have a more objective missions handed down by Excella/Tricell. Watching/Protecting Irving alone makes her few quick appeances in the early part of the game exciting, where as Wesker just seems to stand around and scheme and beat up Chris.

The Visual & Scenario Archive of DEGENERATION gives SEASHELL (not TRICELL) as the purchaser of WilPharma. Now, considering the "SEASHELL IS EVIL" message on the Kijuju site wall and that Ada mentioned the giant pharmaceutical company "S" in her report (which is probably just an abbreviation), I think it's save to say that TRICELL is in fact S / SEASHELL. The wall scribling gives me some hope that this will be explained in the game somehow.

In the Degeneration art book the script is written. TriCell is not mentioned, instead is known as Seashell.

On the Japanese site, TRICELL is said to be a sponsor of the BSAA. I don't know if that makes them just as much or more of a bunch of hypocrites than Umbrella. Umbrella pretended to preserve the health of the people whereas TRICELL actively supports the fight against bioterrorism.

I like the shady hypocrisy of it all. If true, the story's already a lot better than some reviews are saying it is.

Looks very unlikely that Jill would survive,even if she does ,she would probably escape with excella. Excella no doubt survives RE5 , as she is not in the enemies list of the hacked demo .

So excella is alive obviously taking the series to Resident evil 6. There is no question of her dying in this one.

Since the 19th century, they have established the "Resource Exploitation Department" and the "Pharmaceutics Department" doing original development based on the material collected from the African flora and fauna. In the more recent present, the company name was changed to "TRICELL", as it has come to be a conglomerate of three departments.
It is also a corporation in the board of directors of the "Association of Pharmaceutical Corporations" which is a sponsor of the BSAA, its influence is very strong."

It all makes sense now. TRICELL used to be a maritime transportation company named SEASHELL. Recently (probably around the time of DEGENERATION), the name was changed to TRICELL because it now is a conglomerate with three departments. I wonder what the third department could be... *cough* B.O.W. Development Department *cough*
