so no we know the game is going to be completely kick as$, everyone griped about resident evil 4, and though alot has changed since the other versions, i love that game, up until now, its my favorite game of all time, i still play it on a weekly basis..

okay so replaying rounds over and over might be stale to some, but the game play is just top knotch, it kept me on my toes, and now RE5 will do the same,

its the best of both worlds, re4 game play, and Resident Evil at heart.

The plot thickens, the mystery revolving around TRICELL is apparently solved, according to the Japanese site:

Here's a full translation for reference: "In its former life, it was a maritime transportation company of a famous family spanning the Age of Discovery. Since the 19th century, they have established the "Resource Exploitation Department" and the "Pharmaceutics Department" doing original development based on the material collected from the African flora and fauna. In the more recent present, the company name was changed to "TRICELL", as it has come to be a conglomerate of three departments.
It is also a corporation in the board of directors of the "Association of Pharmaceutical Corporations" which is a sponsor of the BSAA, its influence is very strong."

It all makes sense now. TRICELL used to be a maritime transportation company named SEASHELL. Recently (probably around the time of DEGENERATION), the name was changed to TRICELL because it now is a conglomerate with three departments. I wonder what the third department could be... *cough* B.O.W. Development Department *cough*

Yeah, the that would explain the "Seashell is evil" scrawl on the blackboard of the flash site (http://www.thatvideogameblog.com/200...paign-trailer/ lists some of the scrawled writing... it's probably been posted before, but whatever).

They also mention "Sheva knew". Is Sheva *dun dun dun* evil? Probably not. But what did Sheva "know"...? If this has already been discussed, someone please fill me in xD

Sheva was aware of an inside agent/mole planted in the BSAA, someone originally affiliated with Tricell or Umbrella(to keep tabs on certain affairs). The BSAA is supposed to be sponsored by Tricell afterall. I can't help but feel we need to pay closer attention to the notes/reports showing up on the BSAA desktop. Someone was able to crack the security with ease... There's an early set-up at hand here...

That makes sense. I'd be so pissed at her if I was Chris, and that was the case. Obviously, she's not seen in a negative light after all is said and done, as she is on the 'good' side in the first viral vid (unless those are not yet confirmed to be canon. I'm still hoping their only purpose is to support that "Fear your can't forget" tagline :/ ). But yeah... she can't be bad, otherwise she just wouldn't be there with Chris... so I guess it'd have to be something like that.

And what's this about her being in the next viral video? I heard there are screenshots of the next one up already... haven't seen 'em. I feel so lost and n00bish (cuz I am one xD)

As Capcom have based previous companies, and even the Japanese researchers from Umbrella's HQ on actual people and places; there may be a basis for the Marine-based resource department of Tricell(Sea-shell), in which Irving is currently employed(is also director of the Oil Refinery). Just a strange coincidence maybe?

It wouldn't be a surprise if the three founding companies of Tricell(perhaps this only pertains to the African Branch), were all family-owned, reminiscent of Umbrella's past. You have the Resource Department(Irvings or other), Pharmaceutical Department(Giones? or this is related to Wilpharma), and the un-named department(again...Gione?)

Although I did expect this: In one of the reviews (IGN?) they said that after entering an area they came across resistance of an undead variety. I'm surprised no-one else caught this myself, so this isn't one huge spoiler for me, but for others it will be.

Most reviews/previews since the RE4 days still refer to the Ganados/Majini as "zombies", so I didn't think anything of it (and personally, they were most likely referring to the Majini anyways).

In any case, I had a feeling this might happen after seeing the thing we shall not speak of.
