Burns off enough leeches and the remaining leeches will be too weak to reassemble, and they have no choice but to flee.

Well again its a very early boss fight, there doesn't need to be a ton of complication to it. I liked your theory on how the boss fight could of went, but that would be really difficult to pull off outside of co-op play. While its said the game is best co-op, there still will be alot of people playing by themself.

I hope new battle styles will be added to the next few bosses then. RE4 have lots of variations, from the zip line in the 2 Gigantes, to the mini-maze/underground burrow/gate area of the U-3, to the canisters for Verdugo and the bell thingy for the Garrador. If they really bothers to try, I'm sure they can come up with new stuffs to make the experience fresh for this game. Instead, I'm seeing shadows RE4 everywhere. At least the game plot is moving forward though.

I thought Jills look was really different when I first saw the screenshots, then seeing the scene it didnt look like that. I thought Jills hair was surprisingly shorter then it was before...but if you look close she has a ponytail. Which...I could be wrong but the tubegirl when shown on the computer monitor had one too I think. I still prefer UC Jill's look.
The scene will likely not be playable just a cutscene. Probably will be revisited through out the game....we saw bits and pieces in various trailers

I always thought it'd be amazing to have this flashback in co-op. Imagine playing co-op with Chris and Jill, walking through a mansion owned by Spencer. Amazing much? Sure there'd be no enemies, but it could just be a short little level used for puzzles and atmosphere. Then, once you get to where Spencer and Wesker are the cutscene kicks in.
