I don't suppose anyone got a screencap of the face on the monitor in the trailer, by any chance? You see it behind Chris and Sheva as they are descending on an elevator in the giant room with all of the tanks/tubes (where we see the metal tube opening in the extended TGS trailer).
Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.
You can see it at 0:41.Last edited by Archelon; 12-31-2008, 11:30 PM.

Yeah theres definatley a face there if not two, my eyes aint the best but to me looks like a big face on the right of the screen either Wesker or black merc dude think it's Josh and top left looks like someone with a hat on either one like Jill's or could be Salazar lol I cant tell but looks like someone with a hat. The more I look at it I see Jill in her Re1 attire in the top left of the screen like I said my eyes are rubbish I might be seeing something that is just a blur.

Here are the caps!
Spoiler:
This first one almost makes it seem clear-cut that it's Jill, but...
...just as the scene starts to fade, we get a clearer angle, and it almost looks like the person's hair is pulled back, almost resembling the style of the Tube Girl.
This excites and frustrates me simultaneously! It almost makes my hopes for Sherry being in this game resurface, but at the same time, it looks like Jill!
Gah! Someone with a copy of the Blu-ray disc cap nao!

Originally posted by P Anderson DIEPossible huge spoilers ahead containing birdlady, tube woman and a few other things, just read them over at Gamefaqs I have no idea if it's true or not the guy hasnt even posted a source yet so take it was you will but if it is true then again its huge Spoilers so read at your own risk.
Spoiler:
What I am about to share with you all is not really plot spoilers, but more like character involvement revelations. When producer Jun Takeuchi said that we would see the return of various characters from other games in the series, he wasn’t kidding. Every single major character from the series appears in the game, few actually make an appearance though. Some are cameos, some only mentioned, others are in flashbacks and the rest are in previews of Resident Evil 6.
Mystery Cloaked Woman and Woman in Tube revealed:
The Mystery woman is non other than 22 year old Sherry Birkin, she is sent by Albert Wesker to be sort of protection/bodyguard for Excella Gionne and sometimes Ricardo Irving, even though he eventually gets injected with a “Tricell made” virus and eventually is capable of defending himself against Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar..
The woman that is seen inside of the glass tube filled with liquid is non other than Jill Valentine. Since Jill’s death, (and yes she actually did die and it is canon) Wesker actually recovered Valentine’s corpse and has been a experimenting with Tricell to the make the ideal B.O.W. in other words to make Jill Valentine a “perfect zombie.”
Chris Redfield and Ada Wong:
Ada wong actually plays a minor but significant role in game. She actually contacts Chris via telecommunication assisting him with “dealing with Wesker.”
I’m not done with the Ada Wong part, More Details later Gotta go.
Usually I wouldnt belive this but it does sound exactly how I imagined it would be.
Spoiler:
the 2 new level's that were shown apparently shoots down a few part's of that.

Well killing a fan favourite and trying to replace her makes no sense, like some guy said it would be like killing off Samus on metroid prime.
Spoiler:
I'll tell u what makes sense though, making her a semi zombie then curing her/saving her 3/4 into the story so she can talk to chris or save him.
I sense Capcom know if she does die there will be alot of angry fans, i just don't think they would do it lol, they are playing with us it is very obvious.

Originally posted by Town of Green View PostI'd have to disagree. Jill is a main character and she is important, but she's not to RE what Samus is to Metroid. RE has always been about following a cast of characters. You can kill one off and still follow the story with Chris, Leon, Claire, Jill, and whoever else. Metroid has always been about Samus, and most likely always will be. If you kill of Samus, there are no other characters to follow.
Well to me it's like this, Capcom if they kill her will be letting all the character building they have done for Jill be all for nothing.
I mean think about all the possibilites for future titles it might add, not to mention the revenge plot with her hunting down Tricell.
I just think it's the most logical thing Capcom can do, rather than carry the Wesker conflict too far.
Bring Tricell into the fold with Jill as the main character, hunting them down because of what they did to her.
Just my opinion at the moment, so let's see how it play's out.Last edited by BlackHeart; 01-01-2009, 04:47 PM.

In regards to the screencaps and to Blackheart's post...
Spoiler:
That really does look a lot like Jill V's forehead
On the topic of Jill's 'death' being 'character building for nothing', i disagree. Someone having a personality and feelings never stopped them from dying in any form of fictional media. Characters are often more memorable than plot twists, you can have the greatest plot in the world, but if the characters exist as nothing but value changers in the story, then there's going to be no emotional investment for the viewer or player - And killing off a character is a sure as hell guaranteed way to tug on someones heartstrings, be it for the better or worse. So in the sense of character development, the irony is that killing off a character actually one of the most effective things you can do to develop them!Last edited by Gideon Quinn; 01-01-2009, 05:35 PM.
