I'll start it off. I just got the Degeneration Blu-ray, and the Tricell themed trailer has a bit of confirmation on what was inside that Del Lago type monster. So if you don't want to know for sure, don't click the full res pic.

For anyone who hasn't seen them yet, the Resident Evil 5 Trophies list and pictures have been leaked. I'd assume that these are the same as the achievements for the 360 version.

Look at his chest, its a male, and his hair and face structure is that of Irvings. You can explain his arms and legs from the fact that hes mutated. I mean, look, he has a giant heart thing pulsing through the midsection of his body.

If this truly is Irving, and not some sort of unmentioned character or faceless, tyrantlike humanoid boss creature, than my friends, it SUCKS! Chainsaw dude is one thing but this... Is this some sort of new tradition to create stupid Salazrlike dudes with annoying voices and than mutate them in some gigantic abominations?

I agree with Nomad here. It's one thing when you copy-paste chainsaw enemy and others normal enemies (along with their AI and animations). But copying bosses' design too? Oh c'mon Capcom.
And yes, that guy inside the monster really looks like Irving.

The fact that are using similar enemies from RE 4 sucks but I'm not suprised considering it was game of the year. I guess if there is a good story explaining why there are similar creatures well I guess that would be alright.

I have to agree with Dot...it does look like Irving. His arms are kindy scrawny from what we've seen. I had high hopes for this boss, but I have the feeling they simply copied and pasted the fight with Salazar. It looks almost exactly like the pose Salazar had when he allowed himself to be drawn into the plaga plant thing.

I also thought the bat boss reminded me of Mendez from 4 a bit. Though Mendez didn't fly, he did have his body stretched into the air (similar to the bat), and he could jump and swing around from the rafters. I hope this is me simply thinking too deeply about it, but so much was taken from 4 that I'm starting to lose hope for the gameplay aspects of 5.

Spoilers ahead containing the bosses.

Spoiler:

Apart from Jill, Wesker and Spencer you got the bat that resembles Mendez (as mentioned above) Chainsaw man, The salazar mutation and lake creature that where both in Re4 they just combined it, The Manji's with exploding head and that parasite thing replaces it like the Garnado's, Also apparentley they are reusing the El Gigante and theres a U8 which is probably similar to the U3 in Re4. When they said they would be reusing past enemie's I was expecting The Hunters or Lickers or Nemesis anything but a bloody El Gigante. Also the dogs now have spliting heads which is new but not like it hasnt been done before can anyone say The Thing. I think the crocodile's are a much improved creature they haven't touched on since Re2 and they seem to have done a good job.

I don't mean to always be saying bad things about this game, I mean the graphics are very good and the story already got me wanting to know what happens but latley and after playing the demo, I think with all the anticipation I might have overhyped the game and now the disapointment begins.
