Resident Evil 5 PC Confirmed ?

Not sure how credible this is since i don't have access to the magazine in question, but according to worthplaying.com GameStar magazine has confirmed the existence of a PC version and claim it will be released in July.

Resident Evil 5 is the forthcoming installment in the Resident Evil survival horror series, promising to revolutionize the series by delivering an unbelievable level of detail, realism and control. A few months back a PC version surfaced in a Capcom release list, which was removed/denied shortly thereafter, but a recent preview in the latest issue of GameStar magazine has the PC edition scheduled for summer (July) 2009.

I think it is (in)official confirmed you can find a lot of articles on the web and the biggest german PC Gaming magazin has an peview in its actual issue.

Another point is that Capcom told in some intervies that the main developement platform of BH5 the PC is

I am surely going to hope this is true, Although it sucks I'll have to wait ALL The way until July.. because I can't afford a Xbox360 or PS3, only thing I got is a really strong PC, guess i'll just have to try and forget about the game for awhile =( But i'd just wish they'd officially announce RE5 on PC.

Hehe I bought a NGC for RE4 and the main reason for me buing a PS3 was the BluRay Player and the fact that BH5 will come out for it.

I bought a Ps3 and Xbox 360 only reason i got 360 was for Mass effect but now i use it more then my Ps3 lol.

Atleast if something comes out for a certain console when u have them all you really can't miss anything.

Yeha 360 has more games (in my opinion some better games) than the PS3 but the PS3 is old it will come with the time.

Yes, it was but the Wii hasen't the power for RE5 and if the would downgrade the game to the Wii it wouldn't be the same

Resi 4 for the Wii was really good, and definately my favourite port of the game. Unfortunately the Wii just wouldn't be able to cope with RE5, and the Wii isn't HD anyway so it'd just look horrible. As for RE on the PC, I've never played any Resident Evil on the PC and wouldn't want to, it just wouldn't feel right for me.

Kudos to you, that's one of my favourite standalone games, the only other being Eternal Darkness.

Eternal Darkness was the first game I bought for the GC. Your head randomly falling off, misplacements, I love that stuff.

And don't you guys forget that RE 5 is being developed on the PC with the MT framework, that means that the PC version will be the superior one. Same thing happened with DMC 4 and Lost Planet.

Another good game i bought for my xbox 360 is Fallout 3, i still haven't completed it after 140 hours lol.

I have this thing about role playing games, in resident evil 5 with a partner even if it is AI helping me out it will feel weird .

I hope Sheva doesn't waste all my ammo like in the demo lol.
