I beat Yawn 2, and am ready to leave the mansion again. The only problem is, I haven't saved Rebecca, but she is not dead either. Shes not in the room where that Botany book is.

I believe I told Rebecca in the beginning she can not follow me, and I also told her not to practice, but I believe the latter has nothing to do with it.

Why isn't she there? I'm playing as Chris [capt. obvious]

I don't know why but this being my first knife run on any RE game, it just feels too easy. Not sure if they dumbed down this port of the classic to make it easier for DS owners, or something like that.

The knife in the DS version is WAY overpowered.
I remember hunters being like 4 slashes, and each slash stuns them.

Try on the original Playstation. I can beat it on versions WITH auto-aim, but versions without I can't beat (Tyrant in the labs is too hard).

Glitch, most probably, save it, turn off, turn back on, try again, if not, then I don't know.

Play the original Biohazard or better yet, Resident Evil (no auto aim). Proboably the best for knifing, Tyrant can be a pain without the auto aim set up. DS is just far too easy.

The hardest room is the one with all the naked zombies and the MO disk reader. But you don't need to go in unless you want the best ending.

If it has auto-aim, the whole game is not too hard. Even the tyrant in the labs is easy.
If you don't have auto aim, make sure you have 2 controllers, because you might break one. It's that frustrating. I just gave up on it. Even having Chris' inventory of the knife and 4 full heals.

And, have you tried RE2/3 with knife only? RE2 won't be so bad IMO...played it so many times, but RE3, Nemesis X_x
