    Cloverfield of course how I forgot about that. Great movie and yes the marketing campaign played an important factor to the movie's success even the main character of the movie had profiles on facebook and myspace.

      ^ Yup! They all had MySpace profiles...I remember trying to add them as friends. But they didn't accept my requests.

      They really went all out with the viral stuff for that movie...and it worked. I saw it the night it came out.

          The question is, how are they doing it? I'd expect an hour to write it down at one spot, so that's not the way. Maybe stencils and spray paint?

            End war tried this at last year, trying to get people to put a wallpaper on all computer labs and libraries. They gave out prizes and stuff.
