WTF are you guys talking about?
Is there something wrong with my browser?

    I'm seeing a small, dark, blurry, upside-down (?) image...
    Where is the "face unveiled"?

My expectations are really low right now, especially after Code: Crap. The story really went to hell there. It was back then that they decided they should try and make something different with the story, and turn it more character based stuff. And for me, they failed. Especially because I don't care about paper-thin characters that never spoke enought for themselves for me to like them, leave alone caring for them. The RE characters are enjoyable on a dumb level of fun, but Capcom seems to think otherwise, and turned the story into some crazy character-based-drama that's going nowhere fast.

I don't entirely disgaree. I think the series lost a lot of its integrity with Code: Veronica's story. I think RE5's story will be better than stuff like Veronica, Zero, and 4 (I hope) but I too am kind of expecting mediocrity (although I do honestly want to see what's going to happen with Spencer, Wesker, Chris and Jill).

RE5'S plot will suck for me because the big punches are the "whatever happenns" to the characters. And since I can't find myself caring, it won't bother me at all. It's gonna be: Umbrella dies for good, TriCell rises for me as far as the "plot" goes. At least it's better then the RE4 nonsense.

Interesting catch there, and although it is a bit blurry, if you take into consideration that part in the trailer where Wesker says something like ' It appears your partner has arrived. I will leave you two to catch up.' and then the bird woman and chris are going at it while the Tricell woman watches in the background, it does all point to her being Jill.

In that take though, Chris' reaction to her being revealed to him in such a way will be very interesting to see play out, and if indeed you can fight her in this scene or it is all watched in a FMV sequence.

On another note too, it is interesting that it seems only Sheva is fighting her here, and that in some other posts its been hinted at she knows what happened to Jill in some way, so could this be her way of taking Jill out herself so she can keep her agenda hidden from Chris longer ?

Complaining about the storyline and narrative in Resident Evil is like insulting a midget for being short.

Also, I don't think that single frame is actually her face. She's still wearing her mask about two seconds later.

Also, Chris IS shooting at her. So either it's not Jill, or he doesn't know who she is at this point.

Her movements reminds me of Ada. I don't know we'll see in March.

Good find but really not enough to go on not with that quality, I dont think it's Jill the face looks kinda odd almost like a doll face, that may just be down to the quality. Cant someone clean this image up?

Even if it is Jill it could easily be a clone used to torment Chris, I don't really think you can see who it is in this at the moment and what about resident evil 5 story?

Resident evil 5 has evolved and in my opinion this could be the best story they have had in a resident evil game yet.

I tend to agree. I have a feeling that the story in 5 is gonna be good. I mean with Chris, Wesker, Spencer (and possibly Jill and Sherry!) this could be the story a lot us us were expecting from 4!!!!

Should have learnt your lesson from Re4 dont think there is much story to 5, theres less than an hour of cutscenes if it does try to tell a deep story its gonna be crammed in. Im trying not to build expectations cause you will only end up disapointed if you go in not expecting much might be plesantley suprised.

There is not "less than an hour of cutscenes". A ratings board does not play the entire game, they are shown selected footage of the most violent scenes that may warrant a certain age rating.

And RE5 has already pretty much been said to have the best story in the series thus far.

The less than hour of cutscenes was never confirmed - just because that what was submitted to the BBFC don't think that's all the game has to offer, often a developer will submit a selection of footage that better represents the game. There could be much more than that.
