Not sure if this is old news, but when the trailer was first shown back at TGS I figured Chris was just firing his BSAA M9 standard issue at the leech/worm creature. The new direct feed seems to show differently. Anyone have any thoughts about what kind of gun it is?

Looks like there's a metal case beside her there. Obviously some kind of sample of one of the viruses or Las Plagas, but I wonder why she's carrying it around. Hmm...
