@this poll. Are we talking about the Limited Edition or the American Collector's Edition? I'm becoming confused...
I'm leaning towards getting the Asian Limited Edition, with the Chainsaw USB stick. It's a lot cheaper and some of the stuff in the American one I don't want or will buy separately.
However, I'm not sure I'll be able to handle waiting for the postman to arrive if it's available in the shops down the street. So, I might end up buying it locally too. I havn't heard about any sort of Collector's Edition for Australia yet.

I see no reason not to buy it. The price really isn't that bad, considering all it comes with, and I'm such a sucker for limited/collector's edition things, especially with Resident Evil.

Same here. Normally I don't pre-order anything before I know for sure whether it will be worth it, but I couldn't stop myself this time, and as you said, I regret nothing.

Although... I'm still insanely curious about what else is special about the collector's edition strategy guide. I know it's a hardcover book, but I can't help hoping there's something else exclusive to it.

They usually come with an artbook or something similar.

Of course, it depends on who makes them. I know BradyGames CE guides usually come with the guide and a rather substantial artbook. I'm not sure about Prima, though.
