I want wesker to be holding chirs by his neck (his signature move), getting ready to snap his neck when all of sudden Barry blows the back of his head off with his trusty hand cannon..."that's for the blackmail bitch". Then he's going to pick up wesker by one hand as his skull's regenerating, then chokeslams him into a volcano. Saves the day again.

A better ending would be Barry coming from the shadows to try and save the day/Chris/Jill, only to be overwhelmed by Wesker's slick blonde hair and teleportation skills. And right before Wesker pulls the trigger, Barry says his famous last words:

Chris: "N-...no!"

Barry: "...I never got my sandwich..."

Yea he really does. If not a cameo, than at least a mention of his name. I still think he should be in a flashback from Jill's funeral because you know damn well that he was there, rebecca too. You don't make it through life-changing/scarring situations like that and then not show up to their funeral.

I'm just curious...Barry has a HUGE reputation around here as a guy that "deserves this" and "deserves that."

But, he made his appearance in RE1, and a slight appearance in the end of RE3. I like the character and all, but honestly, what makes him such a big deal?

In RE1, he was sort of cool, because he was much different than the typical video game hero. But, now, with RE5 taking place in 2009, Barry would be 48 or 49 years old.

Now, I am not opposed to a cameo (in a support role or flashback), but I wonder why so many are insistent on Barry receiving a lead role in a future RE game?

He's not that significant to the series, in all honesty.
