No, just a stiff door. Oh, and a demon whose seal is carved into the door frame who will violently violate all those not approved entry.

And yes, we have three rooms on the ground floor. The smallest is the games room with my PC, a table for making models and painting them, a TV rigged up to about six consoles (PS2, PS3, 360, Wii, Dreamcast and...something else that's slipped my mind) and whole piles of roleplaying books and the like. It's the only room my kids are banned from, bar the cellar (where a table for Warhammer lives).

Also, my life is awesome. Just so you know.

Reffering back to the first page of this post, yeah I meant play it till I actually pass out prob be the following night. Didnt mean I'd play it for 10 minutes and then pass out from bordem, Im playing Res5 not watching an Anderson movie.

Gotta stash up on smoke's and alcohol as well, I heard it's like 20 hours gameplay so probably finish it in one go lol. Also some of you guys have some strange rituals I recall one of you listening to Barry White and lighting candles lol.

Well, I just usually do the following:

        - Get the game
        - Rip off the plastic
        - Pop it in the drive
        - While I'm waiting for the system to download/update, I prepare my food and drink
        - Blast the TV and have some fun

I have my own TV room so I'm able to shut the door and blast the TV without bothering anyone, lol.

This thread actually made me wonder if I have any of these, but I can't say I do. I'll probably take the day off work, drive down to the closest GAME store and grab a copy.

Usually if I take the day off work though, I'll not roll out of bed until 11am or after, so I don't really know what time I'll bother to get the game. I did go and get Metal Gear Solid 4 at 8:30am the day it came out, and I don't think I'll do that again, there was no point and I felt sad as sheeeeeit doing it.

Anyway, I'll grab a copy, some breakfest (or lunch) and I'll head home. I'm trying to coax some people into taking the day off to co-op it with me, but I dunno who I'll play with.

You better be a white-wolf player, for tabletop role-playing, bitch (and others too <3)

Darkmoon surprises me today. I thought I was the only one who enjoyes that kind of thing here, on a regular basis.

Well, Call of Cthulhu is my game of choice. Shock there, I know. But I seem to recall a very nice special edition of Vampire: The Masquerade and Werewolf lying around. They're my friends, actually, but since he lives here too...eh.

There is also Exalted. And when I say Exalted I mean every damn book you can ever dream of.

Plus the usual suspects such as D&D and GURPS, BESM and a few dozen others. We like our geekery in this house.

...and now we're going way, way off topic so we'd better go on topic before the Gods of Mod strike me down. While I don't have any ritual I have a friend who does. She always gets the game as soon as possible (which is often a couple of days before general release) and then reads every word in the manual, a strange and twisted thing in my opinion.

Then she reads it again. Which is just odd.

Then she'll play an unrelated and relatively mindless game as a pallete clenser before actually playing the game in question. Which I find odder.

Well, my girlfriend's birthday is ironically the same day RE5 comes out, so heres the plan.

I have school in the morning, so I'll do that. Then, I'm not doing anything with my girlfriend until 2 hours after school ends. So I plan on trying to fit in running to the store to pick the game up into my tight schedule of getting ready those 2 hours. Once I do get it though, I'm standing the box up right infront of my 360, waiting for me to play it once I get home later that night, which I will for probably the entire night.

Yea I'm just going to go to the midnight launch so that I can get it asap without having to get up in the morning and go out into the cold ass weather. Than I'm going to take my tv and ps3 over my buddy's house, who's also going to the midnight launch, then we're going to drink and play RE5 all morning on seperate ps3's. Sounds pretty cool, but I keep worrying about eachother's tv's distracting eachother. Like's it's all calm on your screen but your friend's getting attacked by some enemies, that would kinda of throw me off guard.
