I don't quite understand your post...?

Using control scheme D and holding A to sprint whilst using just the left analog stick has the exact same affect as if you were to do the same thing on control scheme A.

You can also push in the left analog stick to sprint.

Although Control schemes are generally about preference and "what feels right".... Control scheme D is by far the most efficient scheme. It allows you to strafe AND look whilst moving or sprinting.... A you can just change the camera angle without actually moving your body... unless you pivot step.

I know it sounds confusing but I have tried all 4 control schemes out extensively and personally I prefer A but have taught myself to use D as it is the efficient and will be of most use.

    So I vote D.

From the short amount of time I played the demo, I used D and have adjusted to it, so D for now.

I liked Type C best. I like the original controls and familar with RE 4 but like that I can strafe now. B and D are just too hard for me to get used to and don't think I will ever use them. It threw me off that they changed the action and run button but think I am used to it now.

Type A definetly... The other ones are too "Gear-ish" for me. I have been using that control scheme since RE2 (the real improvements went in RE4 with the "Insta-knife" button, but they have stayed practically the same...).
