The PC version of Resident Evil: Raccoon City will launch on 18th May in the UK, publisher Capcom has announced.

Capcom's Kobayashi Hints at Resident Evil: ORC Surprises for Xbox 360 Players

It looks like Kobayashi was in a teasing mood today. Impress Watch reports that he hinted at upcoming announcements related to Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City and Dragon's Dogma. Regarding RE, he said "For Xbox 360 owners, we'll soon have an announcement, so look forward to it."

Developer Slant Six Games was sent a beautifully decorated Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City cake to mark the release of the game on March 20th in North America and March 23rd in Europe:

Capcom UK expects ORC to be very successful despite "depressed market".

UK product manager Karl Reader said: "Consumers are buying brands they can trust. The Resident Evil brand is synonymous with high production values and quality gaming experiences. We have an extensive DLC plan to further that longevity.

“We know our Resident Evil audience very well; the real challenge is to captivate a wider audience with a new take on team-based action horror. We couldn’t be in a stronger position to achieve just that.”

The game will be backed by mobile ads, homepage takeovers and a variety of ‘rich media’ marketing
