Supposedly Claire is going to be in a new RE game
Sorry to post this under the Resident Evil 6 forum, but since it kinda relates to Resident Evil 6, I thought I'd post this hear.
On Digital Spy, there were reports about the alleged existence of "Resident Evil: Degeneration-Damnation-Downfall 3D". The title would appear at the end of this year and accordingly, it would contain Degeneration and Damnation in CG technology, and with the possibility of the Nintendo consoles you could see these two movies in 3D. Initial reports indicate that Downfall would be a new game that takes place between the events of Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6. The player would control Claire Redfield who would witness the "downfall" of humanity. The information was quickly removed from the website and Capcom has not confirmed anything yet. E3 takes place during June 5-7. If Downfall is real, it would probably be officially announced then.
I took a look around on Digital Spy and the website seems to be a very reliable source for new info pertaining to movies, games, etc. I've asked Alyson twice, Digital Spy once, and Capcom once (all over Twitter), and none of them have responded to me.

Update with the action figure news.
Vector to be released on 17 June 2012. You can pre-order in the UK from forbidden planet here.
Also interesting is a new chris redfield action figure which will cost £159.99 when released on 1 September

Apparently, RE6 official boxart has been finalized as a simple cover art; the whole 6 theme shown in the trailers. If it really does end up being on the shelves like this, I'll be disappointed. I loved RE5's boxarts (original, Collector's, and Gold Editions, all three were amazing), so was hoping it would have been something like RE5's or even Veronica's with Chris and Leon on the front and Jake in the middle in the back (CVX had Chris and Claire on front, Wesker in back).

I have now made these scans that I did available for public download at the same link. When BeefWellington posted I was unaware, and they were only available to my site members.
