IGN interviews Jun Takeuchi.
"What we wanted to do was to move Resident Evil 5 on from Resident Evil 4 in the same way that Resident Evil 2 moved the series on from Resident Evil 1." - Takeuchi.

Seen on Elizabeth street, Melbourne, Australia.
Sorry if this is old news. I didn't know until I saw the ad yesterday.Last edited by Rombie; 03-03-2009, 09:32 PM.

Just checked the release date here and it's been bumped too... cheers for the confirmation and making me check.

A) Sorry James, but I haven't read your blog (although maybe I should more often);
B) While I do remember you posting elsewhere on THIA that Australia had no specific street day, you didn't recall you stating the 12th as a confirmed on that post (not saying you didn't, I just don't remember it) - I just recall you making a comment to someone else about confusion about the lack of date because they took it that the game wasn't coming out... LOL, and
C) I hadn't thought of checking here to see if ours had been bumped up too
In any case, a poster confirms that expected release date publicly even if retailers ignore it. Guess we'll find out if copies start turning up there early next week instead of Thursday.
Edit - I appologize for posting in here. Will stop it now.Last edited by Rombie; 03-04-2009, 01:54 AM.

Interestingly this hasn't been reported even though it seems I received this e-mail a day ago, but people in England - especially any near or in the London Metropolitan Area, might be interested...
Capcom Europe would like to invite all Resident Evil fans to a very special treasure hunt.
On the morning of 13th March, we will be hiding a selection of...objects...in a central London location. You simply have to find these and bring them to us at another central London location. The objects mean points, and points mean prizes, including the holiday of a lifetime for two people to Africa.
If you are interested in receiving updates and clues over the coming weeks, email us at residentevil5@capcomeuro.com
We will be releasing more information in due course.Last edited by Rombie; 03-04-2009, 07:34 AM.
