  • Melting Majini's/Ganado's

i was just wondering, if capcom have explained the reason why the Ganados and Majinis melt into the ground when they die.

i know it's cause they need to get rid of the body's, but is there an in game explanation for it?

im asking cause i was playing coop with my brother and he asked me and i was about to answer, when i realised i had no idea why myself.

no official reasons, they didn't give any in RE4 either ..

you can always chalk it up to the parasites ..

Just say that the body became so depleted of nutrients and substance because of the parasite that once the parasite was killed the host body did not have enough to hold it all together and so the body just could not sustain its solidity once the host's bug was destroyed. It was basically mush at that stage.

that's a good theory you have there, it could be plausible.

but how would that explain it bubbling, and why the Ganados bubbled red, and the Majini's bubbled orange.

i hope capcom gives us an explanation as to why it happens in RE5.

Well, could be that the blood colouring of the parasite is orange and the infected being human still would be red ?

I think it's just a gameplay mechanic, so the game doesn't freeze.

They've done this since the first RE, hunters, zombies, they disappear after leaving the room; theres no explination for that, so why would they give one for this?
As the rooms in the latest RE's are way more bigger than RE1-CV, they have to maintain a big map with loads of enemies, while more respawn, so they melt away, as above said, a gameplay mechanic.

I think wanting to know why enemies melt in RE4 and 5 is reasonable. In past RE games they just disappeared and it was a more subtle way to to save processing power and avoid straining the console. But now since Capcom have included a rather... extravagant method of streamlining the game's processes, I think an explanation is in order.

I do believe they should explain it, however, I'm not counting on it.

                      This is nothing
Why zombies/etc dissapeared when we entered in another room?

It was the magical elves. Quite a handful, those guys.
