Extreme decomposition due to parasitic interference of human tissue I suppose. I think it just adds to the creepiness of the enemies, to make them extra disgusting. I like to think that it just goes to show that these people are no longer human at all, their outer physical apperance is just a shell hiding a horrible parasite.

However, with the sheer number of enemies in this game compared to RE4, regarding the feasibility of doing that, I'm not sure.
and if they can't, then an explanation is at hand because of the peculiar way they disapear.

It's just a gameplay mechanic. Sheesh.
i just thought that since the enemies had such and unusual way of disapearing, and that fact that RE explains things with science, that there could or should be an explaination behind it. or is it just non canon, and in canon the body's stay there?

edit: Then the Olive comes along with a gem of a file and I somehow skimmed right past it. Nice work Cuban, very nice.Last edited by Agent_Wong; 02-08-2009, 08:42 PM.

I'm not sure scientific explanations are due for a video game mechanic in almost every game ever, just because it looks different, tbh. XD; I also just find it a little ... funny that people want Capcom to explain it and then call any possible explanation they would get from Capcom crap.

and knowing capcom, if they even do give us an explanation, it will probably be rather stupid, not as good as cuban olive's theory (which should be canon).
it could possibly be something like this knowing capcoms idiocy.
capcom: "the plagas was scared of Chris's arms so it ran away and melted"
and BOOM!! it's canon all of a sudden.
but i still at least want some sort of explanation for it.

Darn......that doesn't explain why their clothes disappear as well. I will have to think this out....or just pull a Capcom and leave it a mystery.

I included that the plaga consumes the clothing of the majini like many insects and bugs do. I compared it to the clothing moth.....thank you wikipedia.....that eats through clothing for body oil and moisture.
If only Capcom could see this.....
anyways, this should be made canon, i wonder if there is any possible way, for fans to make something canon.

Originally posted by Yzak View PostSorry, RE is my favorite game series ever, so in my eyes it is a better game series than many others, but it still is a game series. With a common happening that happens in just about any other. And yes RE does explain things, but things that are actually relevant to the series, not a game mechanic. Zombies are something in the game and the story, not something that happens in the game and is a mechanic of the game.
it's a valid question, and since i love to know all the lore about a series, i think this needs an explanation to it.
im not content with "it's just a game mechanic" the classics never had something like that, the disapeared normally when you exited them room, this is not normally, there has to be something behind it.
