Jill has, RE1, DS, Remake, RE3, UC, and RE5 (she's in mercs or something anyway like Assianment Ada in RE4).

and Chris is in RE1, DS, Remake, CVX, UC and RE5.

You shouldn't include Jill in RE 5 just because she's available in the Mercenaries Mode. Because then I can add two more games for Chris: RE 2 Battle Mode and Survivor 2.

besides, Jill is the face of RE, everyone knows that Jill is the most well known character, hell Chris wasn't even in Andersons movies while Jill was, boosting her popularity even further.

counting RE5 is against the rules mr road warrior, it's not march 13th yet.

and Jill's last canon appearance was in 2007 when RE UC was released, and before than in 2002 in remake, and now she's making another one.

oh and, she's far from a falling star Aris, just cause there is a Leon game, then a Chris game, does not mean Jill is a falling star, her turn is next. besides, did you not notice the army of Jillyness set out to war against the evil forces of capcom when her grave stone was seen in the trailer? she's no falling star, and that proves it.

nope, not true, that's like when people say RE is now about Chris's fight with Wesker, it's not true, RE5 is about that, not RE.

just because RE4, and RE5, have Chris and Leon, doesn't mean Jill wont make a return for RE6. capcom has seen how much fans want her back recently by all the uproar over her supossed death, and they are certain to have her as the main protagonist of RE6. remember, capcom likes money, they would be stupid not to make her the main character, they know how many fans want to play as her again. and if Sheva and Ada can play in the new style, so can Jill.

and if Jill was a forgotten character, how do you explain all the Jill fans talking about her and the Jill topic reaching like a million pages? she far from a forgotten character. besides, she's in RE5, she's not forgotten.

Sorry but Capcom is making Jill a side character in RE 5 (If she is going to appear in the game). You won't be able to control her during the main story. That never happened to the other main characters (Leon, Claire, Chris).

Well, Chris and Jill were the original two protagonists. Jill for the beginners, Chris for the more experienced players. Leon was decent in RE2, with his cliche 90s hairstyle. He was a good protagonist. Turned up for his first day on the job, and ended up living through a horrible nightmare that he couldn't have possibly forseen. That whole experience changed him, it would change anybody.

If you were turning up in a new city to start a new job, and you found the whole place overrun by zombies, it would radically change your life. So while I think that his transition from rookie cop to government operative is somewhat feasible, especially considering that he was approached by the United States government at the end of Raccoon City, the execution was very poor. He lost all that made him such a great character in RE2. Replaced by what people find "cool" and "hip" in the 21st century, which unfortunately is shit like everything else this century.

Leon in RE2 was more of a 1990s hero, that was a good decade, a decade that while heading forward to the inevitable shitstorm that was 2000, still retained some of the greatness that had overflowed from the 1980s. Then the millennium, and our lives changed for the worst. Entertainment became reality, common sense became mass idiocy, and television started to become more dramatic - especially game shows and reality television. Look at Deal or No Deal. Back in the 90s, a game show would just happen. You have contestants, you have prizes, people win, people lose, it happens. Not now, instead it's like a bloody soap opera with tears and poignant music as though it's a memorial to someone's tragic loss of a quarter of a million pounds when they opened the wrong box, comforted by Noel Edmonds and the equally over-emotional audience that perpetuates this endless cycle of bullshit and drama.

I think it makes sense to call Chris that. It sounds like they were more going for a "been there since the first game" type of thing and nothing more, in which case the statement makes sense. He's very tied into the other games, if you think about it. Even the REs he's not in. RE2 afterall, has Claire searching for him.

Anyway, that was an awesome read. Nothing beats a good old RE nostalgia trip, sob I love this series so much.
