I think if Wesker transforms it probably will be something along the lines of an angel or other higher being type thing. Transformations of this type seem to be affected by what the person feels, thinks and believes and we all know Wesker thinks of himself as generally superior to everyone else.

Plus, so long as the transformation is minor he can make it out of the game alive. And honestly? I don't expect him to die yet. Capcom can't seem to bring itself to kill off any character that might have a fan, somewhere. Even Steve was hinted as having the potential for a comeback. Steve, for whom the whole world cheered upon his dying.

On the other hand he's so damned powerful now that they might just have you fight him as he is. He's potent enough to be an end boss and still be a challenge. Hell, if anything more of one that, say, Saddler thanks to the fact his evil glowing eyes are small enough to miss.

i love wesker but 12 years is enough look at mgs they had to kill ocelot and end the snake saga and i love it and hope the same happens with re5 the end of wesker and the star saga but i bet he will transform like alexia at first still humanoid but with a tail change of skin bigger or like tyrant say end it man to man mgs4 style now that would rule of awesomeness

I cant see him mutating, I'm not really sure what will become of him but judging from the trailers he has a big role in the game, If he does mutate he will die theres no way he will be walking round as a mutant after the game. If he doesnt mutate he escapes. Personally I hope he does escape not ready to lose our super villian just yet.

He'll transform into something that looks like an angel. With 2 wings at the back. Whether they allow him to fly or not, I don't know. Then he'll say something ridiculous like "Hahahaha Chris! I pray Wesker doesn't mutate nor die in this installment. I don't mind a few mutations as long as he still maintains his human core. I mean, I don't see anyone else taking over as the main villian and having the same kind of impact.

It's strange though, Wesker was whooping Chris' butt in previous installments. I wonder how Chris has managed to gain the upperhand against him because Wesker just seemed so godlike. We all know Wesker isn't the type to lose his calm demeanor, so I'm interested in knowing how Chris could've made him so angry.

^ Even though that would be cool (and ironic; Wesker not being in control for a change), I don't see it happening. Because he seems to have his abilities well under control and is utilising them very well indeed; he can even teleport and run on walls. I wouldn't be surprised if he manages to transform and go back to being human again, since he can do all that crazy shit.

Either way, I lean towards the "angel" theories that everyone's having. What I hope would happen (if he does mutate) is something along the lines of James Marcus's change (one of the finer details of RE0). If you remember, the look on Marcus's face as he vomits leeches is one of horrified shock. To see Wesker turn into an utter abomination would have to be coupled with his own disturbed reactions to it. I recall reading somewhere that he contemplates whether or not he actually has control over his virus in Umbrella Chronicles. I wish I could have a clearer idea.

I'm honestly hoping Wesker doesn't turn into anything. I just don't think it'd suit his character, and if he did transform, I think he'd have to die in the same game. I don't think it could work.

I hope he remainds humanoid. Maybe just get a few mutations "showing" but nothing should ever emerge. If Wesker does go out, he can't go out as a monster - it just doesn't work.

Exactly. If he does mutate, I think he should still remain mostly human similiar to Krauser. I think it would be cool if when wesker got super pissed something would ripple under his skin to show the potential of mutating into some huge creature but not lowering himself to actually doing it.
