as a side story of course. i know that it is not a main RE game, but it does feature RE characters and nemesis. is it possible it actually did happen? it does not seem to get in the way of the rest of the story. i think aliens in RE would be cool!

no, it's non canon, even though it has Jill, Carlos and NEMESIS in it, it's non canon.

it's just Raccoon City getting a guest appearance in another game.

Wasn't Survivor 2 just a crazy dream Claire had during the plane trip with Steve? I don't think that contradicts anything at all. What's the official word on it?

yeah, its supposed to be a dream, but its still not canon, since claire never really saw the nemesis, she couldn't dream it up ..

She was snooping around the Paris Facility for a fair bit, I wouldn't be surprised if she saw it in some form (either physical or just on a screen/paper or something).

The Nemesis was largely just a gameplay device to stop people hogging the arcade cabinets for excess amounts of time.

GS2 is canon, but it's not required material or anything.
